Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Sorry I just had to get that out, now I'll try again!
Morning
No flying as yet, unless you count watering Dad's toms, as the flattop has decided that all email attachments are poisonous! And it looks like I may be aboout to launch into battle with officialdom over something else
I need to make a sausage hotpot before lunch to take to a photo shoot for messy church (which was on the attachment).
Coffee whilst I start some dotting.
Ah but now I think, I did set the DW going before school so that could count as flying?!Official Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0 -
I'm in again if a little later this morning, need to take things a bit easy as my heart is racing due to medication being too high
Oh well at least it's working.
Re: cats peeing...I find soaking the area with a bowl of warm water with some biological washing powder/liquid in works wonders. You need the enzymes to breakdown the cat pee. Leo has a habit of peeing in corners when he's annoyed with us, normally about us staying in bed instead of feeding him at 6:30am, so I have a few problem areas in the house. They number has gradually reduced since I've been doing this though. They put enzymes into the expensive sprays you get from the pet shop.

That makes three of us - someone else mentioned they lived here too a few weeks ago, but I won't dob her in. Valli thinks it must be paradise because I live next door to the gin distillery (where firemen visit to do inspections) and Chocaccino. She's right, of course.
Bins and recycling out and collected, paperwork sorted from yesterday's attic assault and is about to be snipped up for scrap-pads, Mrs Dog walked, breakfast cooked by OH and scoffed, old recipe books sorted for the CS later, alternate blue skies and bucketing rain, so I'm not sure about doing any washing today. Waiting for a phone call from antiques man to see if I should continue with settle-scrubbing (doubtful, as Valli advised not to) and determined to clear some of the clutter in this RoD. And do some of Natty's list stuff. OH is off to London again, so I'll be free to rummage and fling in places he squawks about if he sees me in them.Better is good enough.0 -
I'll let you know Pigpen lol.
Right so far I've put the WM on a cleaning wash as it was full of dog hair.
Loaded and put on the DW
Made my bed, this is something I neglect to do
S & S the bathroom, including sweeping up loads of cat litter
I sorted through and tidied all the dog's clutter. Found several harnesses that don't fit her (struggling to find one to fit) so thought I'd wash them and give them to DD1's Grandma as spares for her dogs. So yes I put them in my clean WM  how bl**dy stupid of me.
Had a text from DD1 saying we need to reapply for travel and food expenses, why they couldn't tell her that before she went back I do not know. So now I need all my bank statements, tax credit and esa paperwork which of course my solicitor has because I had to reapply for legal aid or what ever its called to try and get the injunction against the ex.
I've just had to phone the solicitor and luckily I can have them back but can't collect them til tomorrow.
I stopped for coffee and toast now. Then I'm going to dust round my bedroom, hoover and clean the windows.0 -
Is it Dot's birthday? Happy birthday little one! Aww, will she be the eldest in her class too?
Well, breakfast club went well this morning. He was quite huffy on waking, and a bit of a grouch tbh. But once we got into the hall and he realised we were having breakfast together, well he really cheered up! :T So he chose a bowl of cheerios and some apple juice, I got a cuppa, and we sat and had a bit of us time. he told me where they line up for dinners etc and showed me the scary curtain, lol.
Then I took him to his classroom, and he waved at me through the window! Hurrah! He's at after school club tonight so we'll see how that goes!
I'm working today (honest!) so will catch up at lunchtime. House smells lovely - cola gammon in slowcooker overnight mmmm
Bright but showery and blustery here, DD said her hands were cold on way to nursery this morning so I've dug out their little gloves for later...
I have a confession to make: I might have to change my me mountain challenge - my knees still feel bruised from last Tuesdayand FIL (who has been running for decades) has warned me off. When they are back from hols I'm going to use Tuesday nights as gym night so I can do the cross-trainer instead. And I may look into getting a rebounder for wii island jogging. So it's just a modification really - needs to be lower impact on my joints.
SORRY!Bossymoo

Morning all!
I'm in - but I'm distracted. I'm waiting to hear if O/H has a hospital date yet, and coming to terms with the news that mum is going to have a lump checked out on Friday. A lump she's had for 6 MONTHS!
I vary between grief and anger - I really don't know whether I'm coming or going!
Sister only found out when she went to look after mum when she had D+V last week. She decided not to tell me on the phone because both O/H's parents had cancer and so she came to see us.
Sis is a nurse and is pretty convinced what the outcome is going to be. Mum has had a lot of pelvic pain recently - sis is now wondering if this is a secondary.
I feel torn - O/H his going to need looking after - I can't even commit to going with them on Friday.
I want to scream - but I'll settle for going to work. DD2 will deal with gas engineer when he comes....
Thanks for letting me vent ladies...:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -

AnW - it's so nice to have you back on the thread
Great to see other returners too xAm noticing a massive difference in the house. It's getting easier and faster to keep clean.
Have emptied DW and run washing through TD because it's wierd weather - sunshine/wind and rain at varying times and done some ironing and stuck maiden in front of sunny window for airing purposes, as I am going into work tomorrow (unpaid *sigh*) to see how reception works as I am in there Friday so today will be taken up wiith prepping for work. Have also hand washed breakfast pots, a few jam jars I have been given and tidied kitchen.
Mummmyoffive Matalan are advertising temp xmas vacancies (the one near town) - it's an 'apply within' sign. HTH Agree with you on the weather!

Bossy.. yes, she will be just about the oldest, she is a whole 2 today... Squeak is the youngest in her year group... it is mad.. they are 2 school years apart with only 13 months between them, yet there are 23 months between Dot and Delilah and they will be in consecutive years.. Dot the oldest and Delilah the youngest.
did I mention Delilah can do proper big girl smiles? They are so cute but she looks even more like Squeak!
Back to my laundry..
2 standing orders set up for DS2 and DD2 their travel and dinner money for college. I have reduced DS2's by £10 a month.. not only is college a lot closer he is only there for 3 lunches a week!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0
