    Good morning all xx

Put some washing on the line/ in the TD and in the WM.
Walked DD to school, just having a cuppa and going to crack on with it..........
  • I think I've had an epiphany

Last night I washed up the glasses etc before bed, laid out uniform for DS1 and DS2, and tidied the living room. That meant this morning, everything was where it was needed, the boys had no excuses for not getting dressed so the time I usually spend shouting at them I used to wash the breakfast dishes, make all the beds and stick a load in the WM. By the time I got back from delivering DS2 to school, the WU was almost dry, just and quick wipe to put them away, and the WM was done.

I know it all sounds very simple but I feel as though I have hit the ground running today and best of all, the usual morning rush was calm and quiet. So I now need to…

Iron yesterday's washing and hang up today's
    S&S kitchen and bathroom
Tackle the LR as per today's list
Sort out ParentPay for DS1's D&T projects

DS2 has an appointment at the dental hospital this afternoon and I need to pick up flowers and deliver to SIL for her birthday. I'll be out from 12.30 so I need to get a shift on!

Pigpen thank you so much for posting those lovely pictures, I can't wait for my DD1 to get home from college so I can show her. She's been fascinated by the size of your family for years :) (she's studying level 3 childcare).

My sister did lvl 3 childcare too (she is on the right with Dot and Jacob in the grandbeasts pic)

She can come practice on them when she is up this way if she wants, there is always someone in needs of homework/reading book/washing/brushing help... and we have loads of messy craft stuff and playdough etc.. :D

Everyone fed and watered and banished to school.

Birthday beast colouring in her book for the first time ever.. she has fabulous pen control

Fizz.. the next step is making them get out their own uniform the night before.. it helps lots when they can do that themselves and they are sorted for adult life too.. Mine get theirs when they get their pjs on. I get Squeaks out too now and she is usually dressed by one of the older ones (8 and 10 and 12) after she has eaten her breakfast :D

Food time... I ate very little yesterday and am now starving to death.

    Morning all,
I attacked the study last night, cleared my desk, chucked loads, cleared out the filing cabinet. It looks so good!:) Trouble is that I felt so good that I couldn't sleep as I was planning too much for the next challenge!
I have had another call for work today so hopefully I will be working pretty soon.
I'm about to start mount iron more, the wash basket is overflowing seeing as I changed the sofa covers yesterday and it is tiddling it down outside!
Pigpen - lovely pictures. I still think you have a screw loose though:p
Natty - thanks for the lists
Bossy Moo- sorry for the typo, sure you're not boosy this morning!
Today's list - not too bad as I did a lot of this yesterday and the kids haven't wrecked it yet!

    Table cleared
    DW on
    WM x2 on
    Kettle on
    recycling and composting out

Might boss OH to get out the vacuum cleaner and I'll go do some flinging in the girls room.. half an hour in there should be enough for me to lose the will to live and make a little difference.

Dot seems to love her little rocker she just got for her birthday
