Sky Movies £1 a month for 3 months

I got a letter in the post for the movie offer , rang up yesterday, got the movies with no messing. Was told the finish date of offer and just to cancel by that date , so as not to get charged the full price once offer is finished.

I just tried for the offer but they flatly refused as it isn't marked on my account that I can have this. Even the chap on the phone was surprised as he said my account was excellent, but he couldn't bypass the system.

Just tried to get this - I'm on the £21/6 mix - but they said "no" but wait to see if you get a letter!
I only got the "free" sky+ 2 weeks ago (after "threatening" to cancel as advised on MSE) so maybe Mr.Murdoch think's I've had too much lately.

Sky seem to love me. It was only last week that I had my £49 Sky+ installed.

I got the letter and took up the ofer, I was on the Entertainment 6 Mix plus Sports Mix 1....and upon taking up this offer it seems I've also been given a subscription discount.

We phoned the other day to reduce our package to 2mix and sports, then decided we did not like the price of the reduced package (£34 I think) so cancelled.

No offers of anything to retain our business. All they tried was to persuade us to take on sky talk and broadband. It will be interesting to see if they phone back before 11/7 to tempt us.

I tried again but was told in no uncertain terms that only certain areas have received this offer, so knowing my post code means I can't possibly have got a leaflet.

I'm not having a good day actually.

i'm on the six mix and i managed to get the offer (without getting the letter or flyer) i was refused at first because i wasnt sent a letter and he said the computer wouldnt let it go through, so i said ok never mind and that(in my saddest voice mind) and he says to me that everyone has been getting this offer so i should get it aswell so he told me to hold the line for a minute while he checked it out and came back saying i can have the offer no probs.,was well chuffed.Anyway you can get it if ur on six mix and havent had the flyer it just depends who you get on the other end of the phone,so go for it, if you dont ask you dont get.
