I received the letter and leaflet this morning and called after seeing this and trusting you all more than sky that there wasnt a catch :)

I got through to someone who I could barely understand and told him I wanted the offer and quoted the necessary. He then said I have to ask you some questions, his first was Do you want the offer of sky movies? My reply was yes thats why I called you. DOH I eventually got it after him telling me I needed to reset my password WHY? Then he reset my PIN again WHY? He then kept me on the phone while it sounded like he was typing up his notes and he was taking ages releating everything he was typing. I asked if it was necessary that I was on the phone while he did this as its a 0870 number. He said no so I said thank you and goodbye. Movies are now on and I still cant watch them as the little one has Cbeebies on.

I signed up to sky in March getting the full 6 packages for £14 I'm wondering if I should bother with this if they know who they have sent the flyer too

I just called and got the £1.00 offer for 3 months starting today. I also asked about re-starting my multiroom and changing that box to Sky Plus as my daughter has returned home to live. They quoted £99.00 installation and £10.00 per month for multiroom. Does anyone know if I can get a deal on this also??

Cheers! I have just got this,I take it that it only for a few movie channels though! and not all of them - I cannot get sky premier:confused:
I would love some decent telly on a Saturday night

Carolwat, I also got the feeling that the man (who I could understand) was trying to deliberately keep me on the line too as he kept repeating the details of the package and terms to me until I cut him off with a 'thanks, bye!'.

    Is this their new ploy???

Edit: Also don't have to pay Sky+ charge this month as on movies.

  • I too got the sky muppet who had'nt got a clue about this (2 mix) offer !! however after spelling it out for him, he "checked with his supervisor" and I'm now switched onto the movie mix for £1 per month extra for the next 3 months. Probably the only offer I'll ever get from Sky that's worth having ...:T
