How did you get the 25% discount, I will cancel after the three months and wouldn't mind trying to get a discount

As I posted earlier you have to be on the Entertainment pack six mix (£21) - If you are on this then you should be able to get the offer as the flyer wasn't personalised

I am on that package. They told me the flyer hadn't been sent to me and I wasn't allowed the offer. They know who they've sent the flyer to.

  • Flyer says .."sky digital uk residential customers with 2 mix (£15 per month) can upgrade before 30 June 2007 to "sky movies mix" for £1 a month extra until the end of the 3 month offer period. You will pay the full current price for "sky movies mix with 2 mix (£34 per month) thereafter unless you change your package option in accordance with the terms of the subscription contract"

I'm on two mix plus sports and did get the offer. Just phoned and will be activated tomorrow (apparently there is a glitch affecting some people with sports package until tomorrow)

    Cheers

I'm presently on the 6 plus sports package at £37 per month. Rang sky asked about offers and was quoted even less - £32.75 per month for 3 months for what I have now plus movies. She even gave me the date on which I shoud ring back to cancel to avoid paying full price.

I am on the 6 pack mix and have not had any previous discounts, I was also informed that there is no record on their computers that this offer had been sent out to me so they could'nt apply the offer for me

My flyer was different, it does seem they are picking some customers and not others, that seems really unfair
  • THANKS FOR THIS!!!

my mum called up today and the lady sorted it out no problems over the phone. she ever knocked off £2 from her bill next month so we've ended up with sky movies for free (in effect) for 2 months

....and because we now have sky + (using previous offer of threatening cancellation and being offered a free reconditioned box) we can record the movies we want now and watch them whenever :D Happy days!
