Hi all,

just dipping my toe into the thread again as its been almost 12 months since I posted on it last.

Presently I am using Nip+Fab Glycolic fix serum on my face overnight. Its an overnight serum which contains 4% glycolic acid. Ive definitely noticed an improvement in appearance and texture of my skin but I'd like to find a similar glycolic overnight product of 10% or slightly higher. I'd like to alternate it with a 10% Salycilic acid product from time to time.

Do you have any recommendations or ideas where I can look. I don't really want a peel as such. I want to leave it on overnight.

Well I will soon be starting the mandelic/salycilic acid peel when it arrives from sr-skincare.


I'm upping the anti. I usually use 15% but have gone for the 20% this time. I think my skin has gotten used to the lower percentage.


Starting to get a few spots on my chin and need to get rid before xmas lol.

I used a 40% lactic a few days ago and think I should have started with something lower as I have a breakout and flaky skin. I don't usually have any reactions other than melting away my wrinkles.

I have mixed some of my salycilic in with collidial silver which I use nightly blackheads are clearing up.

Hi all,

Looking for some recommendations.

Nearly hitting the big 3-0 and want to get my skin looking really good.

I do have ok skin at the moment, can be a little oily around t-zone, and some pores/blackheads too.

What would you recommend to buy?

I have had a peel at the salon which was good, and am currently using Boots No7 Glycolic Peel kit which is ok, but doesn't seem to 'do' much.

Salycilic or malic are good for blackheads.
The colledial silver and salycilic mix I made that I use nightly has cleared mine up
