My skin would disagree as would the friends I have introduced to home peels.
Right all I have found a fab mask it is superfacialist tea flower it contains a small amount of salicylic and I had two yes two spots during this period!
Hope you're all well and you're remembering to coat your face in factor 50 lol0 -
I posted about TCA for home use but didn't get ay replies so just wanted to add to this thread in case anyone has a thought about it.
Had a free consultation at a well regarded local place, the nurse told me that either Mandelic or glycolic aren't good choices for dry skin or deeper lines, they are too mild but useful for acne/greasy skin.
Have to admit my face is very dry after the home kits, but the salon price for 25% TCA is over £300, so tempted to do a home peel.
She said there wouldn't be severe red face or massive down time, but obviously some as it's considered a medium peel.
Has anybody here had a TCA 25%?

Hmm, so i'm quite new to peels, i've been using the Glycolic 30% for 5 weeks now, not really noticing much difference (im 22 and not much for problem skin).
I'm wondering about going up to 40-50%, but i am worried i will admit.
I was wondering how much difference there is in the effects/discomfort there would be for the 50%?
I'd also like to get my mum some, for her sun damaged open pores on her face, she tried my 30% with no problems but also not sure what would be best for her >.<Save, save, save, save.0 -
I haven't done any peels before. But after reading these posts, I might consider trying it!
Me too! I've seen what looks like a started kit on Boots website so might give that a go? Most ladies on here seem to be pro's but I'm too scared to start with eBay stuff in case I met my face, hahax
