I had a winter sun holiday last year and my skin was awful after it. It looked lumpy and weather beaten. I have never used mandelic but regularly use salicylic and lactic peels and sometimes a glycolic mix. I probably won't use one now until after my summer holiday.
They are quite addictive though when the results start to show:D

That was from a thread on the grabbit board judi
ali..the mandelic one is good but my skin remains oily. I have combination skin so that's why I'm going to try the mandelic/salicylic peel.0 -
I purchased this amazing product on Ebay which I hope is legal! Its an intense anti-aging serum which you roll on your face. Ive used it twice and its definitely having an effect.
Active ingredients:
Hyaluronic Acid 60%
Retinol A 2%
Vitamin B3 2%
Vitamin C 10%
Vitamin E 2%
It stings and it did make my face go a bit red but its given me a real glow. Im being careful during the day - Ive used a moisturiser with an SPF30.
Any skin care experts on here with an opinion on the %s of active ingredients? I believe that 2% Retinol is the highest you can get without a prescription.0 -
Anyone bought from sr skincare webstore? There customer service is pretty poor. I ordered a peel kit a couple of weeks ago. When it arrived they had sent the wrong peel and was missing a moisturiser aswell. Took an age to get them to reply, then they acknowledged they had sent the wrong peel, but have yet to reply about the missing moisturiser.
The peel I bought didn't come with any instructions either. If some has used the mandelic/sailyic acid peel, cold you advise me on how to apply it.0 -

I've used this peel. It's the same process as the others. Apply, wait for one min or two then neutralise.then go up a minute or two each week.0 -
Does anyone know the shelf life of the sr-skincare peels?0

Been using the mandelic/salicylic acid and i must say it's playing havoc with my skin. The 1st week was ok, but the past couple of weeks the skin has become quite sensitive with bumps. It also stings quite alot. Gonna persist as the blackheads seem to be clearingbut will go back to the mandelic in a few weeks.0

Avoid the lactic/salicylic acid peel, it's very strong even at 15%.
I was sent it by mistake. Sr-skincare then sent me the mandelic/salicylic peel out & I accidentally used the lactic one. Wow made my eyes water. Also left my skin feeling very sore and dry in places. Probably going to have to wait a while before starting the mandelic/salicylic peel now.
How are you applying the peel pam?0 -

Hi, the company sent some cotton pads with the peel, so i'm using those. Think i'll do 1 more peel at the weekend then rest the skin for a couple of weeks.
What strength did you get? Mine is only 10% and its pretty harsh.0
