  • But with almost half the weight missing?????? That is disgusting, doubt the change in ingredients will equal the same wash as before.

Old ones - 3.7 - 7.4g non ionic sufficant, anionic sufficant, 1.2g soap

New ones - 3.9g anionic sufficant, plus 2 - 3.9g non ionic sufficant, 0.625g-2g soap.

    Looks pretty similar to me.

The main thing they've removed is extra water.
  • i see that in Which's survey ASDA is no longer the Value for money store it once was.
I found an example of this today. Their generic packs of white potatoes have been, since time immemorial, weighing in at 2.5kg and until recently priced between £1.29 and £1.40.
Today they were priced at £1.29 and I thought 'good a reduction'. So I pick up a bag and it seemed a bit light. Thinking it had a hole I pick up another, but this seemed the same. Then I looked at the label and found that the pack now only weighed 2kg! That missing 0.5kg could make all the difference to a family. Also it could make all the difference to having to make another visit to the store for more potatoes.
