Hi
I hope you all do well and get to the end without having lapsed.
Speaking as a ex smoker it was one of the hardest (but the best) things I ever did. I am now both debt and mortgage free thanks in part due to giving up.
Good luck all, don't forget to reward yourselves at the end.
Thanks Tealady!💙💛 💔0 -

Hi, can you count me in please?
I've only been smoking for 2 years but on a 20 a day habit, I've lost count of the number of times I've tried to quit on various methods, nothing did it for me. Got to the point where am desperate to quit yet desperate for another cigarette.
The group support idea is great, it won't be lonely with all of you instead of just my stoptober calendar to stare at! x0 -
Morning everyone, well today is my day for stopping, I ran out of cigarettes and I am NOT going to buy any more!
I have my inhalator after seeing the practice nurse yesterday so here I go.
Good luck everyone, we can do this!

Good luck Heffi!
I've got 37 left at the moment, however these will easily be smoked in the next 3 days.
Remember, electronic cigarettes (available from most retailers), chewing gum (available from most retailers) and a pen (free from Barclays, Argos, or most retailers) will help you stop.
Gun for something to do with your mouth, pen for something to do with your hands.

I am still going strong, but have had a few wobbles throughout the day today, not given in yet though so I am quite pleased with myself. 7.5 hours down puffingon the inhalator, which is helping I think, although the taste is not so nice, it is keeping the cravings at bay for now, has anyone else stopped yet, or are you waiting until 1st Oct to begin?
CKhalvashi what will your plan be once those 37 are gone?
