Have you put your heating on yet?

I agree, it certainly does feel colder.
I can't believe how quickly the weather can change in this country now. Season's are either getting longer, or being missed out altogether. I don't get the feeling of Autumn at all now, just winter.
Does anyone else feel the night's are pulling in too quick?
Well, I had the heating on yesterday, but not today yet. I should think I will tonight.

Last September I am certain that we were basking in temperatures of close to 30C. The summer arrived fairly late last year if I recall correctly.Heating on for half an hour yesterday evening, I'm sure this September is colder than last year.
BBC weather says it is going to be 17C on Saturday and 16C on Friday with both days sunny. My browser weather toolbar concurs.0 -
Fingers crossed, next week could be 20+C.....we can always live with the hope.......0

Still no for me, but since I posted a week ago I'm now wearing a jumper, don't have the windows wide open, and it's dropped down to 16C inside.
In 2011 it reached 30C at the start of October, and it could be around 22C by Monday.0 -

Yeah I've had to have the fire on numbers 1-2 as its freezing here. Also I have to wear a long sleeved jumper in the house and I've returned to thicker socks.0

It's about 18.3C in my lounge ATM definitely dropping but the external insulation seems to be doing a fantastic job.Still no for me, but since I posted a week ago I'm now wearing a jumper, don't have the windows wide open, and it's dropped down to 16C inside.
I don't think that it was only 2011. 2012 got to 29C in September and was over 20C for quite some time until the later part of the month. I hope it does warm back up next week. Looking back and there were some cool/cold spells over previous years in September. In 2011 it reached 30C at the start of October, and it could be around 22C by Monday.0 -
Well Heating on for a short time yesterday evening and this morning, hoping for warmer weather on Monday as thats when they are supposed to be doing my upstairs windows, otherwise its going to be very cold while the work is being done.0
