Tell her that a little physical activity would warm her up and then wink and give her a hug. lmaoMy winter duvet will be going on tonight, woke up a little cold last night, temp outside was 6 degrees according to my iPhone app.
I've tested the heating this morning only for 10 minutes to make sure that the rads work so that when the real cold comes I know it's working. I have a combi boiler and it's set to summer mode so no heating on since April...would be just my luck something wouldn't be working when it's freezing but all is well. I'm happy to sit with a duvet on in the evening if needs be to keep a little bit warmer. I don't see the point in heating the whole house at the moment, it's just not THAT cold yet.
My other half will say otherwise but it's my house and I pay the bills so she'll just have to get used to it!
Temperature 20.2/18.7 adjusted to 19.7/19.2 average 19.5. It's been raining, sunny late morning, warmer inside and fairly overcast now. Still sitting in a T Shirt.0 -
Its been very cold in the NE over the weekend and now stuck in an office where the heating is on full blast (way too hot). It will be interesting to see what usage will be this year due to changes at home (including new, windows, improved loft insulation, new appliances and less people in the house). Hoping to save fingers crossed.0

I have relented. I am sat at my desktop and my hands and legs are freezing, I open the lounge door and the hallway is like a fridge.
So yes, I NEED to keep warm at my age, no point in having money in the bank then dying from Hypothermia.:DYou live..You learn.:)0 -
