  • So far today - WM on and washing out on the line (hoping it dries before forecast showers appear!); ratty cage cleaned and all their stuff sorted and tidied; washing up done; 2 x 60 in 60 done; eggs hard boiled and tomatoes washed ready for salads, etc; toilet and sink cleaned; kitchen bin cleaned; Commonwealth Games tickets applied for and Terry Pratchett ticket bought!

    This was all before midday which is unheard of for me on a Saturday!!

  • Washing out on the line, hotspot on top of the filing cabinet is now clear and only a few bits put back. All filing now gone too. :D

    Time to get the rugrats ready and then we're away to deaf club. Hoping if the weather stays good i'll get the lawns done when i get back. Might try and sow the seed in OH's head before i go. ;)

    Kitchen cleared of clean laundry.. I folded then delegated putting away
    Boing mucked out (DS3)
    Back room cleared of rubbish and vacuumed (DD4)
    Hallway cleared and vacuumed (DD4 and 5)
    DW loaded (OH)
    Washing on line and 2 loads in to wash
    Recycling out
    Books back on shelf (DD5)

    My new bedding has arrived so I shall get that on later.. flannelette sheets for the grandma in me :p

    My wool has also arrived for Squeaks cardigans so I shall get Spams jumper finished and sew up Delilah's 2 which are knitted but not sewn.. then make a start on these nursery ones.

    DD2 has the front room to tidy and DS2 has wash baskets to gather up and bring downstairs.

    DD4 has also swept half the kitchen ..I think she is on a roll!

    Monday - Kitchen
    30 minutes to spare..
    Wash out the washing machine drawer
    Extra challenge:
    Choose your messiest drawer and give it a good tidy, wipe out if you have the time - CUTLERY DRAWER
    check for birthdays in the next few weeks.

    Tuesday - Living Room, Hall and downstairs loo
    Clean the toilet and sink
    Wednesday - In memory of our dear friend Toots
    15 minutes ......
    make contact with somebody you have been meaning to email/text/phone or visit
    30 minutes to spare........
    write your Toots list if you don't have one or if you do complete one item from it

    Thursday - Bathroom and study
    15 minutes...
    Clean the toilet, sink and bath
    30 minutes to spare..
    Wipe the window ledge
    Clear your desk, dust/wipe it clean and replace just what should be on it
    Got an hour...

    Friday - Bedroom, you choose which one
    30 minutes to spare..
    Hoover right into the corners and under the bed if you can
    Clean a window or two

    Work on that paperwork mountain with 15 minutes shredding, filing, recyling etc
    still no new bins

    Wednesday - In memory of our dear friend toots
    Got an hour .........
    Then it's me time, life is too short, when our final day comes we will all still have a 'to do list' so do something you enjoy for an hour

    Thursday - Bathroom and study
    15 minutes...
    Clean the toilet need new gloves
    Got an hour...
    mop floor
    Extra challenge:
    Check doors for draughts and fix as required

    Friday - Bedroom, you choose which one
    15 Minutes
    Strip the bedding and remake with fresh linen

    Extra challenge:
    Gales forcast from Sunday onward so put away anything outside which could be blown around out door toys....but need to sort shed first

    i must try harder next week :D
  • Went out to feed the ducks for an hour this morning, got two loads drying on line and kids can put all the washing away later. House looking ok but I'm a week behind with studying. Hubby is starting to get on my nerves with this bloody fish tank business grr agreed to bigger tank and to sell smaller one then best deal on a tank came with a heater so we having tropical instead of cold water fish now and he driving me mad keep researching which fish we best to get....anyone on here have tropical fish?

    Need a nap but should study for an hour really

    mummyroysof3 my mam used to have loads of tropical fish, they require a lot more care then the cold water ones IMO. I don't remember much but i do know that some will eat others so becareful not to waste money, but there are some very pretty ones :D

    4 x wm 3 are now dry but it looks like it could rain any minute so i have bought the last lot in to put on the horses then tumble dry them later, am glad i didn't strip the beds now its just gone really dull, over cast and really cold.

    i washed all the inside windows earlier the out side need doing but seen as its about to rain...

    Been to town...hard work after a very late night out with lots of dancing with my besties...got DS1 things for college..so thats one thing sorted.

    WMx1 dried and in ..WMx2 now on line another load in machine x

    Need to hoover through and strip LOs bed at least

    Have put shopping away at least...just want to knit really lol xx

    Really pleased to hear the good news about Poppy...continues get well vibes for her xx
    Feeding 6 Adults 1 Teen a 8 year old with hollow legs and a very fussy 5 year old. Also 3 cats and 3 fishies
    To include all Food,Toiletries and Petfood.
