Hello!
Flying Update: Can anyone tell me where this week has gone, please? It feels like no time at all since I was on here, but sadly, not much flying to report. Aches and pains have been a bit more painful than usual and as a result, my "'ickle bits" that I was hoping to achieve have become even more 'ickler!
Me Challenge Update: Am in the process of compiling a SOA (think it stands for Statement of Affairs?) to work out how much I need/can save etc., plus potential income. Watch this space ......
Toots List: Too long to post, but as things get done, will update accordingly. The Top 3 are non-flat flying based things, but without numbers 1 and 2, I'd be in an even worse predicament than I am now!
1. My "Me Challenge" (getting my finances sorted) so is a work in progress;
2. Getting my paperwork sorted - ditto
3. Improving my cooking skills.
The flat-based things range from the very basic (e.g. remembering to go walkies with Henry or the carpet sweeper every day) to finding out what causes the yuck that appears round the bottom of the taps in the bathroom. It doesn't happen each week, but is just annoying when it does as there seems to be no visible cause for it .....
See you all next week.

Mummyroysof3 factor in running costs too, does it cost much to heat? I know zip about these things.
Right I have the chair bed out of the loft, so I'm going to frame myself after I've eaten...
I have read the healthy start newsletter from school :rotfl: packed lunch guidelines! Doesn't affect us, but, really? DS had pasta, ice cream and cake nearly every day this week for school dinners! Double standards?
Anyway, they also do a breakfast club in the school hall. Under 8s need to be accompanied so parents are welcome too. This will be perfect for us on Mondays, when I want to get DD to nursery 45 min before the start of school. Not enought time to get home in between, but too long to hang out at the gate if the weather isn't great. So, DS and I can go have brekki together for 50p each!:T cereals, fruits and toasts, juice and milk or tea / coffee for us big people! What a bonza idea! MIL said she will do the same on Wednesdays. With the added bonus of getting DS used to going in the hall with the big scary curtains!
On Tuesdays he will get breakfasts at wrap around club, so that's all our mornings organised when DD and I are at nursery / work. Hurrah!
ETA mummyyoffive mine are very little but I do insist they help when they are able - we call them yes days and no days. Months ago, we had a no day where I said no to everything: snacks, stories, play doh, park and so on :rotfl: they lasted about an hour before they were begging me for a yes day. Now if they say no, I say "oh good, are we having a no day?" And plonk myself on the sofa / nearest chairwithin minutes they are "mum, yes, yes, come on!" Lol

Afternoon all,
3 x wm donevin the last 48 hours and with today's nice weather are all dry except the duvet cover. Non iron items are away and ironing pile is sitting for attention tonight. Always prefer to do it while watching tv so will keep me company during x factor.
Not long home from town, nails are glittery French manicure, very me! Also picked up a new pair of jeans as most of mine are in the 'when I lose a stone' pile haha d3benhams had 20% of lots of ranges so only £16.
BF is currently in the bathroom finishing the skirting then moving on to the same in the hall. I'm about to finish decluttering this cuppy then tidy the living room to the mess it up with underbed boxes :-( I think I'm resigned to not having a tidy home till after the move!0
