Spent yesterday afternoon clearing out emails, sorting bank accounts and accounts generally. I can see my desk surface! OH is out this afternoon and evening so I will be able to get stuff done. Good.

Morning all. Is it possible to join all you lovely people because I need a kick up the bum with regards to all things home related.
I work long hours which means I often find it hard to be as organised as I should be but the unfortunately the perfectionist inside me gets annoyed and stressed with the amount of stuff there is to do at home.
With your encouragement it can be done.....shuffles off to hang washing out. Gotta make the most of this fine weather.

Not doing much today. I'm going to my best friend's soon as she in bed poorly (fibro) so I'm going to keep her company.
I've been waiting nearly 2 hours for DD2 and her friend to get their butts in gear :cool: so I can drop them off on the way.

Morning all...
Honey Bear - I know you will all be here to support me - and IRL one of my friends is in the boat I'm heading for as both hers have now left hoem so she too is home alone, I think I have been secretly dreading this event for a long time.

Anyway I need to clean, the sun is shining so I have windows and doors open, washing on the line so normal service will be resumed. We were supposed to be doing a Uni visit but DD has changed her mind about her possible course again and we've left it to late to head for Nottingham.

Anyway I have made a start - tile grout has been bleached.

Morning all, kids up early here too. Took DS1 to football coaching and not long back. WM and TD both on today and i'll have a look at my very long list. :eek:

Only have 7 loads left for wm and that includes all bedding. House is looking great just need to keep going, looking forward to making aload of lists tomorrow. Hoping to make a start on christmas and birthday stuff, so tomorrow is all planning.

Right best go look at this list..

Got up this morning, thought it was chilly and tried to put heating on.

Boiler wouldn't fire up.

Yes, the new boiler that cost thousands! And that was installed last month!

I am SO NOT HAPPY.

Engineer coming Monday morning.

Well DH has put up the new (old bathroom) hallway light and we're about to start painting. DS is coordinating the bedroom swap which is quite comical as he's 9 and DD's not that keen but is just being bossed and doing as she's told by him! I shan't get involved as they have moved a huge amount of stuff already.
Right DH and I are ow off to start painting woodwork everywhere. Which could be interesting as the kids are walking back and forth where we'll be painting :eek:. It wasn't planned for the room swap to happen today, I was thinking next week while they were at school!

Feeling very motivated right now. Kitchen is looking immaculate and all that's left to do is to scrub the floor. The washing is drying nicely in the beautiful sunshine, but I feel he need to get outside this afternoon and tidy up the garden whilst its still sunny. House duties will resume tomorrow so I will pop back on in the morning to post my to do list for tomorrow.
