Good morning. Cat fed and Im decluttering a cuppa.

Was quite a Friday 13th. Friend sat on her straighteners and burned her backside. I fell over on the way home and my pride was dented more than anything else. Just aching a bit and a bruised leg.That's what I get for laughing at my friend.

Will get get up shortly and have a whizz round before I go out. Then meeting DD for lunch and shopping. Making broth at some point today too.

Hoping Poppy is doing ok.

I must get moving away from the pc now and do the washing up and just get going really.

Morning!

We were up early. Honestly, how old is it when kids "get" the concept of a weekend lie-in? Anyway, they both wanted two bowls of cereal, although a fair amount is on the floor under DD chair. And I've emptied and reloaded DW while kettle was on.

Will strip my bed when I go for my shower. Kiddies will be going to grandparents this morning (phew! Maybe I can have a nap later :rotfl:) and I want to go to @ldi - need some alcohol for tonight (!) and I want some ingredients for chili jam. If they still have the tap jackets I may get one of those too!

Holiday girls sleepover at my aunts tonight (hence the alcohol!) so need to get up in the loft for the chair bed.

If I've time I would like to get in my wardrobe and pull out anything I'm unlikely to wear for a while. Oh and stash some of the empty pots in the garden so they don't fly away - high winds expected here tomorrow.

Oh. DS wants a turn, cue handful of cereal just scattered :eek: thank goodness they were eating those dry, it was just the Cheerios that had milk...

Welcome back CY, I hope you manage to have a calm relaxing weekend.

DS1 has gone off for the 2nd part of his referees course. I hope the bus turns up this week.

DH and DS2 are off paintballing for DSD's intended's stag day.

I have DD2 to take to tennis and collect DS3 from the sleepover. 11 I'm off to get my hair cut with DD2 whose fringe touches her top lip.
2.30 a friend is doing my nails.

I need to rethink my outfit for tomorrow's wedding. Heavy rain and gales do not suit a cotton tea dress. Time to get my wardrobe sorted and new season items out the storage case.

School Uniforms are washed so I need to iron them this morning.

No food in the house so I'd better get to te5co.

I have a nagging realisation I have no childcare for the wedding tomorrow.

Pigpen-good news about the little one.

Well weather not as bad as expected, will be able to hang washing out instead of the dryer:j want to leave using the dryer for as long as possible.

Asked DD2 to walk HER dog this morning

Me: Morning sweetie(she was in bed), can you walk the dog this morning, I have a lot to do?

DD2: What?? Me?? Again??:eek:

Me: Again? When did you last walk her?

DD2 :Last Saturday:rotfl:

Me: Well, I am so sorry for asking you to walk YOUR dog yet again, you know the dog that you nattered and pleaded and begged for, I mean asking you to walk her twice in one week ,what a horrible mother I am:mad:

No movement as yet from the room;)

Flying wise going to wiz round with a duster and hoover, its not looking too shabby if I do say so myself;)

i have only done breakfast and dishes and washed down the table and popped a load on.

:mad: OH is annoying me this morning, everything has been a argument! Am going to make him a cuppa tea with NO sugar in Muhahahahaha its the little things in life that entertain me.

Made breakfast, DD's blooming blazer washed, about to put another in and DD has just announced she has nothing to wear today. All her jeans & hoodies are in the ironing pile. Guess what I'm off to do now? Yep...an hours ironing to make sure as much as possible is done. Ex will be here in less than an hour. :eek:

i have stripped my sofa ready for the next wash, hoovered it and under it, screamed like a little girl when a HUGE spider nearly touched me, OH has re-homed (sp)it in the garden hes a good egg really.
I hope the dogs dont try and eat it, its a battle they might not win!

Morning all,
What a load to catch up on! Can't remember everything I wanted to comment on but I do recall Piggers good news re Poppy. Hope she's rested comfortably through the night and her mummy has been able to sleep better too!

So far I've got out of bed, put the dry dishes away, took the wet washing out the machine and decluttered a cuppa!
BF has just left for a job at work, got a text yesterday avenue asking if he or another was free to do a job at time and a half. They don't usually get extra for overtime (really is a pants company) so thought he should take advantage while it's on offer.

Once I've posted this I'm going to stick some boots and hoody on and go out (in my pjs) to hang out the washing. Will strip the bed and stick it in the WM then grab a shower and get myself ready to go out. Getting my nails done at 12.15 and have a few other jobs to do in town too. Once I'm home the whole place needs tidied, more packing done and maybe need to start on painting in the bedroom!

No rest for the wicked!

Raphael I suppose I should think myself lucky I only have cats :

Why do kids that have to be woken up on a school day get up at the crack of dawn on weekends ?
Me showered, breakfast DD3. Washing, dishes, glasses, cats fetched out of bedrooms, cats fed, WM done, creel unloaded and reloaded, clothes put away. DW unstacked . Hair dried, face on.
Just gone to make a coffee for me and not enough milk left for my fancy coffee
Off to farm shop for some of their wonderful gravy. Makes any sunday dinner wonderful. No I don't pass it off as my own:)
Going to look in town for a ball of sock yarn as have seen a new heel turn I want to try.
Hugs and spoons to anyone who needs them. Chocolate for anyone who doesn't do hugs and spoons. x
