Jo do you have the pingit app? I would trust you to collect the money for our lovely Toots?0
-
I don't, but I can get it if that helps... I don't want to confuse Toots collection though if others want to do something separately for MacMillan?
Hopefully Will can give AnWs mum some guidance on what they want to do with any collection monies raised, and with the families permission ill be buying flowers anyway, so people can contribute to either if they'd prefer.
Ill still contribute to a Macmillan collection too, hope that all makes sense!

Right, quite a bit done yesterday but not a huge amount from the list :rotfl: Had my new iron delivered so thought it would be rude not to try it - 3 hours later I had tackled an enormous pile of laundry which I've sorted into 'suitable for maternity' - into the wardrobe, DH's - into the wardrobe and 'much too small for pre-baby' - into vaccuum bags to stash away. I'm still nowhere near having got through all the laundry I need to do, but it was a huge chunk and I'm really impressed with my new iron, took much less time than usual.
As it happens, most of the laundry was from my floordrobe too, so it will make today's bedroom tidying easier! Have decided to go out with DH tonight for a (non alcoholic) bevvie or two, so will spend the later part of this afternoon beautifying myself - however this morning will be spent in the bedroom seeing how far I can get. Fortunately the majority of the house is now looking really good - thank you fly ladies!

Morning all
. So sorry that so many of you are grieving
.
I shall pop up to my bedroom and have a quick flick around. It is clean and tidy so it *should* be easy to keep on top of it.
My RoD(s) are the kids bedrooms. Just need to get the ok from DH and then can do the bedroom swap. He's not keen at all though. Don't know what to do.
Did a bit more from my Toots list this morning and had another scrub at the grout on the shower tiles. I've been going for 6 months at them now. All because nobody would wait for me to clean the shower tiles when I got home from work the day they were fitted so I delegated the job to DH who didn't do it and the grout set fast onto the tile faces. So there's me scrubbing them constantly with a green scourer to try and shift it all. I will eventually get there but it's hard going!
Our bedroom needs painting really so will put that on Toots list. In fact, the whole house needs doing . I'm sure that when the house has been finished and carpeted or floored throughout, things will get far less mucky.Debt: 16/04/2007:TOTAL DEBT [strike]£92727.75[/strike] £49395.47:eek:   £43332.28 repaid 100.77% of £43000 target.MFiT T2: Debt [STRIKE]£52856.59[/STRIKE] £6316.14 £46540.45 repaid 101.17% of £46000 target.2013 Target: completely clear my [STRIKE]£6316.14[/STRIKE] £0 mortgage debt. £6316.14 100% repaid.0 -

That's what I wanted to ask, my DD has just started full time school so I have bought her new school jumpers and cardigans with the school logo on after they have been washed they all have bobbles on, is this normal or should I take them back and complain about the quality?
Hi lozzy. In my experience, the more polyester the jumpers have in, the bobblier they go, so there's probably not much point in taking them back. It helps a bit to wash (and tumble dry) them inside out. I use one of those de-bobbler shaver machines when they really irritate me. I am carefully preserving all the old pure cotton jumpers our school used to have before they switched to 50/50!
Task for the day = Toots list
Vibes and healing thought for baby Poppy pigpen and hugs for bossy0 -
I don't think Toots realised for one second how much of an impact she had on our lives.. I wish she could see. A macmillan coffee morning sounds a fabulous idea in memory of Toots and all our loved ones who have passed.
Piggers Do you remember when you asked us all to tell Toots something lovely about herself? It was to do with writing a list of nice things about oneself I think. But Toots couldn't think of anything. The posts and posts of things she'd done or said that showed us all just how special she was made me sob and sob.
You're right though, she wouldn't know how much she impacted us. :AMMSSB Club Founder Member
