I walked into our surgery today, place full of babies, and thought of you. Funny how things work :D

There seem to be loads of babies at the primary school here too.. but in the last few years the birth rate here has increased massively for some reason.

    Hi.
I'm going to potter around today and see what can be done. Midwife has been and discharged us. LO has gained 10oz on birth weight and they are happy to set us free. Having some issues agreeing to a day and time to register the babies birth so need to keep myself busy before I become irrational.

Hugs to all those missing loved ones.

  • I haven't been on over the week so haven't caught up with the thread yet but I have been flying I promise :A
I can't remember what I did when I did it now but I did do it :D
I've had a surprisingly good week, I lost 1 1/2 pound at W.W and have finally completed my D.R.O which has been excepted, not exactly sure what happens next but I know as long as I'm good for the next 12 months I'll be debt free :T
Mr. On again, off again, has been in contact though I'm not reading much into that. The situation if far to complicated to go far, I'm stuck here cos of the kids and my parents and he's stuck there cos of work and family but hay hoe.

Only really bad thing to happen was yesterday. I was meant to visit a friend who has broken his leg in 2 places, he's had surgery and is home but lives alone, no family in the area. I had to really sik myself up to go as he lives in the same area that my ex husband lives and as he's a nut and we're waiting to go back to court cos of his abuse I don't want it to look like I'm going into the area to wind the ex up, if you get what I mean. Anyway, I texted and facebook messaged my friend and never got a reply until the afternoon, he supposedly had been at the hospital although he'd been on fb all day  by the time he replied it was too late for me to go over as I had to take DD1 to an appointment. I'd got so worked up about going that I ended up in tears.
I've been thinking about it and think I'm surrounded by people who blow hot and cold all the time. I know everybody has a life and things crop up but this isn't the first time my friend has blown me off with no explanation and then I don't hear from him for ages. I'm getting a bit sick of it tbh.

Anyway, I'm still working on my own list today which is a bit of everything.
I took DD1 to her work placement.
    Unloaded and reloaded DW.
    Checked my facebook :o
Had a chat on the phone with my best friend, problems her end.
I've stripped my bed, that's all in the wash.
Just done a wash of towels which is in the TD cos it's been raining.
My mum went through a load of paperwork with my yesterday so I've finished shredding the stuff that was not needed, out of date etc.
I've had a text from DD2 asking for a friend to stay tonight, I've agreed as DD1 is at her boyfriend's for the weekend.
I'm now going to have a coffee, make my bed, pack away some paperwork that's needed but not wanted and make a banana loaf/cake for DD1's boyfriend. My girls won't eat it and I don't need the temptation and he supposedly loves it.

I've tackled the big hotspot in my livingroom, DDs bookcase. Its right next to the sofa where I sit and I tend to shove things on there to put away/use later. Its now clear of everything except books and a couple of bits that live there :D My coffee table/desk which is now housing all the stuff on the other hand :rotfl::rotfl:I've pulled some books out that DD has said she's too old for now, and managed to juggle whats there so all the books she still needs to read are on two shelves ;)

Pottered around upstairs straightening DD's bedroom, sorting stuff out in mine, and tidied the bathroom up. After lunch I'll make a start on downstairs if my cleaning cloths are dry.

    Work:

Right, time to find something to make for lunch. DD seems to have consumed all the sandwich fillings except tuna or block cheese...oh well, I'll just have to have some crumpets instead :p

  • Afternoon all

Another dull day here but at least it's not raining so that's a bonus!

Am hosting an online AS party and sale night tonight to try and clear out some of my 'stock' but also try to boost sales and actual parties! Means I'll be on and off the computer most of the evening but will try to get some jobs done before and during. Will make this list my Friday/Saturday list and take Sunday off to spend with visiting family.

Asked the BF to put the WM on last night, was all packed and ready to go (waited till bedtime as it's semi open plan with the living room). Went through this morning to unload it and he had 'forgotten' really can't rely on boys for anything! Stuck it on this morning so can unload and put on the airer after work.

Friday/Saturday - Bedroom, you choose which one
    15 Minutes..
Strip the bedding and remake with fresh linen
    Change to winter duvet
    30 minutes to spare..
Hoover right into the corners and under the bed if you can
Remove boxes from under the bed to clear out
    Clean a window or two
    Got an hour...
So which summer clothes did you not wear despite the wonderful weather? Is it time to let go of them?
    Clear out jewellry hangers

    Extra Challenge
Work through moving Toots list and try to complete as much as humanly possible!!
