Cut back to the value ranges for everything and see if he complains!
You should ask him to set up a direct debit asap and keep asking him until the first payment hits your account.
Yeah maybe i was a little harsh! haha but just got so angry. The treat and expensive food should stop and explain to him thats all you will be getting until he contributes as you cant afford luxuries on your own!
If he wants alcohol and posh food then he can contribute towards it oooh and do the same with his toiletries if you buy them aswell im sure some cheap saving foam or lack of would do the trick along with cheap deodrant no moisturiser etc!LBM - April 2007Claimed back my bank charges from Natwest - £1196Halifax Credit Card Claiming £467.35 Rec £467.35!/Capital One Card Claiming - £523.92/Barclaycard Claiming - £403.58 Rec £403.58/MBNA Claiming - £584.37 Rec£584.37Proud to be dealing with my debtsUpdate: 2009 - Currently claiming £1900 from Natwest0 -

oh hannahsmummy1 you should not have to ask for it. my hubby gets paid monthly, the day after pay day he hands me a months housekeeping I never have to ask. I sort all the bills the shopping the mortgage. If he did not give my anything, there would definatly be no dinner on the table when he came home from work!0

Oh hun
I agree you shouldn't have to ask
especially as you have asked before !!! ((BIG HUGS)) to you !!!
I hate to ask this but did he give you any money towards DD's birthday and presents ???

he bought dd's main birthday present but everything else i bought, im now overdrawn by 14 pounds (the first time in absolutely ages but my od limit is 150 so not too bad) i told him this last night he just shrugged. I told him i needed money for house keeping, he replied thats why i work so he doesnt have to give me money. DD is supposed to be starting nursery full time in september- after the week ive had with her i cant wait! as it happens she will get a free place but i got mixed up with the childcare vouchers and when i asked him to get a code from work he made me go through it with him and siad no because he would have to give up 55 pounds a week out of his 50K plus benefits salary whilst i have to scrimp and save on my 86 pound a week salary!!!! and its made me really angry. Im not having a particularly good week anyway so far so this hasnt really helped! DD has been the child from hell the past 2 weeks so i feel like even she has turned against me, then my step son was in a football tournament and no one even thought to ask me if i wanted to goi just feel left out and generally down in the dumps this week- sorry for moaning to eveyrone about it.
But for the record he will NOT be getting dinner tonight nor will he be getting any washing/ironing done i am officially on STRIKE as far as he is concerned!
On another angry note, just received a birthday card for dd from my auntie in birmingham, post mark dated 8th june sent 1st class, when it arrives here this morning in a plastic bag saying sorry the item is damged- it was torn open & her birthday money inside has vanished oh & surprise surprise there is nothing the post office can do! RANT OVER! GRRRRRRNow im debt free i want to be fat free too!0 -
Oh hun ((big hugs))
You really need to get DH (could stand for d**k head or Dear Hubby depending how you feel when you read this!!) sorted out.
I cannot believe that he will not help out with child care even though it would have only meant £55 out of his wages - I am so angry at him for you - Grrrrrrrr
I am gad you are on strike ((hugs))

Love the idea of a strike! Let us know how you get on. do you want us to form a picket line.....I can do a nice range of placards!!!
Sorry to read about DD birthday card/money

Hi HM
Hope your feeling a little better.
I really cant believe that your husband wont contribute to anything especially childcare its unbelievable just where does he think the money comes from to pay for everything the money tree in the back garden!!
He needs to face up to his responsibilities and as a parent fork out some of his massive wage on his daughter its hardly going to make that much of a difference to him from the amount he must get.
Have you had any developments on seeing where all his money goes in a way of a SOA? He must have some massive savings account thats all i can say seeing as he doesnt give you a penny out of his wage!
Also does he contribute to any of the bills in the house or mortgage? In a word does he pay for anything at all?
Glad to hear you've gone on strike and so u should if he wants his ironing doing he can pay someone to do it after all its not like he cant afford it!LBM - April 2007Claimed back my bank charges from Natwest - £1196Halifax Credit Card Claiming £467.35 Rec £467.35!/Capital One Card Claiming - £523.92/Barclaycard Claiming - £403.58 Rec £403.58/MBNA Claiming - £584.37 Rec£584.37Proud to be dealing with my debtsUpdate: 2009 - Currently claiming £1900 from Natwest0
