hi all
Im back! I decided to take a break from a lot of things and get myself sorted out (or try to!) my dad has been down to visit me & then my nana for 2 weeks and then my daughters 3rd birthday was sunday so ive been busy- but actually not busy spending money you will be all be happy to know! Anyways, although i havent been spending money i havent actually had any spare cash to put towards my debts the past month or so, so im right back at square one! Hubby still not giving me money & is refusing to help pay towards any of the costs towards the debts, but at least we are way past the arguing stage & now he is just letting me get on with it. I have been keeping him updated as to how my debts are going. I am going to talk to him again tonight about him giving me housekeeping money- even its 50 a week- that would be great! We will see how it goes! On the down side- you may remember that my mum & dad were going to try & help me out- well they went to their bank- who said they should be able to help them & they were refused to get their house re-mortaged- they are both gutted as they have money probs of their own, i told them i dont want them to help me out & i will do all i can to sort my debts out. Anyways thats where i am at the moment! Im going to work towards paying my debts off in balance order (lowest payments first-then i will feel like im getting somewhere!)
Hope all is well with everyone else!

Hi welcome back, nice to hear from you again,
I am so angry that your hubby is still not giving you any housekeeping money
Sorry to hear about your mum and dad0 -
The last time you posted you sounded so positive and it looked as though things were going to be sorted. Did your hubby ever start giving you some money or not???????0

Welcome back i wondered where you had gone kept checking the old thread thought something had happened.
I cant believe you have discussed all that and he still doesnt want to help why on earth would he want you to struggle. So are you keeping the house all on your own even though he lives with you? Thats not right or fair its expensive to run a house so its only fair people who live with you do their bit.
Maybe an idea is not to do any food shopping for his tea and when he asks why there is no food say you couldnt afford to do it cos all your money went to paying off the debts you both have! Ooooh it makes me mad!

I like the idea about not being able to buy food! Even if you dont take it that far, I would stop buying th extra treats like alcohol that your children dont use.
Cut back to the value ranges for everything and see if he complains!
You should ask him to set up a direct debit asap and keep asking him until the first payment hits your account.Debt Free - done

Hi,
I wondered where you had gotten to.
Sorry to hear about your mum and dad.
Hope your daughter really enjoyed her 3rd birthday.
I am sorry to hear that you OH is not helping you in so much as giving you housekeeping money. It really should be a joint issue between the two of you. You are married after all.
Stay in touch and we are all thinking of you.0
