oh what a big gorgeous bear!!! He looks like my George (who is a traditionally built lady and is not big furred lol).
LOL thanks, he looks quite thin there and not so fluffy!

Has your cat got curly hair around his belly area?? Sasta got very 'crimped' fur underneath, almost like an afro effect! :rotfl::rotfl:

What do you use to groom them?
Anybody else have long-haired? If so what would you recommend for grooming?

I use a cushion brush to remove the dander and dust and then follow with a narrow tooth cat comb to check for any fleas. HTH

I think letting a cat sit your lap when you're on the loo is, erm, rather wierd and to be honest i would find it disgusting...but each to their own i guess!

My cat sleeps on our bed most nites and keeps me warm when my hubby is workin nites but this has really only happened since we got our dog.
He also sleeps on the kitchen table so that the dog doesn't get him and on top of the fridge freezer.
I don't like him on the table or work tops but the sneeky !!!!!! always goes on it.

I don't think disgusting is quite the word to use. Unconventional maybe.
It's not exactly a hygiene issue now, is it? Allowing a cat on a bed is far worse ( I do this too).
I won't go publicising my home habits in the real world though.

This is only my opinion :o I go to the loo alone, lol. (also don't like hubby watching me for example! again, each to their own! :o )

No George is a shorthair :p :embarasse she's just really fat, she's black all over apart from a white patch on her belly which looks like she's bleached herself "down there".

I love when she walks away from you because her bum wobbles like a big fat lady - that's what made me decide to rescue them LOL!
