Do you let your cats go on your bed?

A good way to get cat hair off furniture etc is put a washing up glove on and just rub over the area, works a treat
Our family cat goes where he likes, 2 strays that periodically visit are not let into the bedrooms0 -
My two cats sleep on my bed, but wait until I put the light out before they will come into the bedroom.
The only places they aren't allowed are where food is either prepared or eaten and they don't bother to even try to jump onto the countertops when I am around. However I have on occasion found some cat hairs on the work surfaces so I think they get up and do a dance when I am out.0 -
If I tried to lock mine out he would scream the house down:eek:
My husband gets up very early & Ted gets in then, he likes lots of space to stretch out, so he sleeps on the floor (usually) till then.
Hes not allowed on the worktops or the dining table, but he does sometimes make a point of sitting in a chair when we are eating, I think he needs to feel included:rolleyes: .
He even has to go to the bathroom when we do, hes a nosey b*gger & just likes to watch what you do:rolleyes:0 -
Our cats sleep in our bedrooms, if we close the doors they cry/dig up the carpets or scratch the doors. We have throws on the beds and sofas to protect them from hair and muddy paws, but one of the cats doesnt like them, he prefers to sleep on the flat sheet, beside my pillow, good job I'm not allergic to him. I just vaccum the hair off every other day. I try to comb them every day, but one of them isnt too keen, but its amazing how much hair you can get out with just a quick comb through every now and again.

I got 2 rescue cats a year ago, always swore they wouldn't be house cats, but I'm a big softie and felt sorry for them sleeping out in the shed
they pretty much got free reign of the house, but I don't like them on the bed, so I keep the spare bedroom door closed as one of them would sleep on the bed and ruined the duvet with hairs. They never sleep on my bed.
They used to just sleep in the living room at night, but since one died recently the other has taken to sleeping on my bedroom floor at night.
she goes out during the day when I'm at work though.Wiggly:heartpulsFB0 -
Mine is okay about me shutting the bedroom door, but I'm still not allowed to go to the bathroom unescorted at any time of the day or night.0

Our sleepsw at the bottom of our bed at night, IF she's in. she's a bit of a dirty stop-out:rotfl: Sleeps there during the day, on an old woollen serape(cape thingy)
She is not allowed in the spare room, as we have family who stay overnight when they come, they are asthmatic and abit allergic.
She is not allowed in DD's room either-mostly because DD would stay up late playing with her.IT would also be two sets of bedcovers getting muddy pawprints on them.
Worktops are a no-no, as is the dining table, but she takes no interest in there. She'd rather sit looking out of the living room window, just above the radiator.:DMember of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19

Cats are rather delicate creatures and they are subject to a good many ailments, but I never heard of one who suffered from insomnia.--Joseph Wood Krutch0 -
My two usually allow me on the bed as long as I don't spread out too much;)0

Our cat is allowed everywhere except the worktops and dining table. She knows she isn't allowed up there but ignores me and will sit there blinking at me til I get within a foot of her then jump down
She adores my husband and most nights will sleep on the bed next to him although sometimes she wants a bit of attention during the night and I'll wake up to find her standing on my chest purring in my face wanting to be stroked! but we can't lock her out of the room as she'll tear up the carpets and howl the house down
Still we love her to bits and wouldn't be without her
