sent me an empty envelope via recorded delivery!

Well whats worse still was that when I checked her feedback she's bought and sold a lot of wee girls and baby clothes so she's obviously a mother aswell! rating of about 500 with 3 negs and a few neutrals. It just seems funny that paypal decided to close the claim in my favour right after I'd called them.
Maybe all the bad press they're getting made them think they should be sensible for once?!?!?! When I realised what the buyer had done (it went to my SIL's house as I was using her ebay account; I wouldn't have signed for it!) I had a sinking feeling as I thought tracking number= paypal siding with the buyer! Woohoo! For once, go paypal!0 -
where are those MSE members who continuously claim that paypal always side in favour of buyer? can't see them any longer!
OK it was only £6 but hey, its happened.
spend the £6 on a nice toy for the new born and best of luck!0 -
maybe it's more to do with the name 'A Monster' on the recorded delivery notice not tying up with your real name? (now that would be unfortunate :rotfl:). When you enter the tracking number of recorded delivery items in, do you get the name and address they're being sent to?
I can't believe as well that the buyer took that to the PO for recorded delivery, probably without any shame! Anyway, well done you!!:j Ready to take control of my life! :j

Should I leave her negative feedback
If so, what should I say exactly?!:o
"buyer wasnt happy, offered to refund, sent me empty envelope via recorded delivery" would that fit?0 -
either that or:
WARNING: buyer tried to con me by returning empty envelope to obtain refundvia paypal dispute0 -
just negged her! I fully expect one in retaliation of course but since I was simply using an obselete account that my sister in law doesn't need any more and she has a much higher rating and is fairly active as both buyer and a seller it may affect her more than me!
I used your f/b suggestion greenstreetprince, hubby said it was more direct and to the point. I was going to wait and see if she'd reply to my messages first but she's been on all evening leaving feedback for other people and the like. My experience has been fairly negative to say the least and I doubt nothing she could do or say now would change my view of her and the transaction.
I don't know why she felt the need to behave in this manner, she could have returned the shoes and got a refund! Or is it my fault for taking 2 days to reply to an ebay message0 -

Some people are just very thick. Thick people often don't know how to cope in the online world. I don't think you did anything wrong.0
