I've had a look at the users other feedback, lots of other worn shoes. Some of them were small adults (size 4) which made me feel a bit better. Maybe wants kids sizes for storage reasons?!?!?

Then I noticed that although the address for the user is 40 miles away, they have bought other kids well worn shoes from my area. Not sure if there are any implications to this but makes me feel a lot more uncomfortable.
I seldom end up where I wanted to go, but almost always end up where I need to be

Anyone who is especially searching for childrens' shoes that retain an odour from the user has issues. Let's not try to get inside their head to analyse what's going on...

All you have to do is print the messages from the enquirer and the item details that they refer to and forward it all to the police for a professional judgement on what action is appropriate. If the police need any more information, let them pursue it.

I would definitely let the police decide if they want to take it further. It is not normal behaviour and who knows what else is going on?
  • I still can't get my head around how sniffing shoes (whether they be kids or adults) can be compared to child !!!!!! !

As far as I know no one ever got hurt by someone sniffing their shoes !

    Pervy yes illegal no !

You have no evidence a child has been hurt or approached directly AT ALL

  • About 2 years ago I was thinking about getting my daughter in to baby modelling, I was looking on google and came across a website that had girls aged about 5-7 in bikinis posing in proactive ways . It wasn't selling anything, just had the girls on a fake magazine cover.

I was concerned so reported it online to the police. They can't tell you the outcome or reply but i went to look at the website the next day and it had been taken down.

It only takes 5 minutes to report and then the right people can decide if its a concern or not.

Problem is your comparing sniffing old smelly shoes to child !!!!!!, one has nothing to do with the other.
Look the only facts we have is that someone likes sniffing shoes. this is a fetish , many people all over the world like to do this, strange, pervy yes most definately but not illegal.

There is no evidence at all that the person wants any contact with a child or indeed has any interest in a child at all.
And whilst this particular fetish [there are many worse out there all perfectly legal]doesnt float any of our boats that up to them.

Surely the point is that someone who has a fetish for smelly children's shoes is paddling the same canoe as those who look at
    innapropriate pictures of children?
.................:)....I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)
  • There is no connection in my mind between someone who likes to get off while smelling shoes and someone who likes to look at pictures of children. Some lunatics don't even need the pics of children to be "inappropriate" in any case. Someone who objectifies shoes is generally not interested in the person or persons who wore them.

In a situation such as this I don't believe the police would be interested as no crime has been committed and no crime is guaranteed to take place in the future, and all one would be doing by reporting it would mark ourselves out as being a hysteric with no sense of proportion. Or sense to speak of at all.
