Buyer wants smelly shoes ... For children

I continue to believe and suggest once again that the only appropriate action would be to inform the police and hand over all the available evidence. They may or may not wish to take further action, but it will be based on an informed, professional judgement.
I find it rather disturbing that others have tried to excuse such behaviour and in their excuses, try to distance this activity away from children. Clearly the comments from the enquirer display a specific and unhealthy interest in children.
It seems "some people" have learned nothing from the uncomfortable revelations of Operation Yewtree:

As for your link it refer to actual children being abused instead of the shoes that are being abused in this instance.
Its this kind of hysteria that contributes to the delays of real culprits being investigated and thrown in a cell, because the authoritys are having to deal with peoples imagined abuse based on little or in this case no evidence whatsoever.
There are thousands of nasty , vomit inducing fetish`s out there , but people must learn to use a balanced view of these things, maybe read up or find out what a certain thing entails before crying pedo.
The link i provided gives a explanation in laymans terms so even a child can understand what it is.
Just a few excerpts for those who found the link tl/drFetishism is characterized as a disorder when there is a pathological assignment of sexual fixation, fantasies or behaviors toward an inanimate object -- frequently an item of clothing -- such as underclothing or a high-heeled shoe. Only through use of this object can the individual obtain sexual gratification. The fetishist usually holds, rubs or smells the fetish object for sexual gratification.
For some, merely a picture of the fetish object may arise the fetishists, though most prefer or require the actual object. It is not about the person who has worn the object, rather it is about the object itself.
Thing is whilst i can understand an initial knee jerk reaction, upon actually reading up on what it is ,then imo you actually get a balanced view instead.

A shoe fetishist, a rapist and a murderer - and all the same individual, who subsequently pleaded guilty.
It's a shame the authorities weren't alerted at an earlier stage - possibly poor judgement by persons who knew rather less than thought played its part? Anyway, let's hope that this situation never happens again. The facts are that a shoe fetishist desires shoes not people [ this is the professional view]"The secret of life is honesty and fair dealing.

Patently that 'professional view' would have got things seriously wrong in this case. Fortunately the court received better and more professional advice.
There are always exceptions to the rule and that link was certainly an interesting read many thanks.
And love how because you have found one link that does not give full details of the situation then everyone with a professional view must be wrong.
There are exceptions to every rule no matter where you look i will concede ,but that still doesnt alter the fact it was about shoes not a child.
Im really glad to have discussed this with all of you tbh because it just shows how the media has whipped up a frenzy over anything that the majority dont consider the norm and turned good sensible people into good meaning hysterics.0 -
I doubt many people have a problem with people who have a shoe fetish. What people do have a problem with is a fetishist who gets off on the smell children leave behind in their shoes..................

Because your point all along has been that they must be a pedo and must an interest in children?
Are we not all in agreement that the buyer in this case, has sent an inappropriate message to the seller, and that even if their requirement for children's shoes is not a sexual one, then they should have thought more carefully about how their words could be interpreted as offensive to people?
This is giving them 100% benefit of the doubt.
If they have sent something offensive via email or messaging, then they have possibly committed crimes under the laws I mention earlier.Warning: any unnecessary disclaimers appearing under my posts do not bear any connection with reality, either intended, accidental or otherwise. At my last school a student made an art installation out of old shoes, they had to be worn and certain colours as from afar they made a picture, he was a year 13 student but he started collecting shoes for his product when he was doing his GCSE's as he knew how difficult it would be to find worn shoes that were the right colours and size. He has done several since, including one purely made from Dr Martens must have cost a fortune, he has sold some to a chain of shops, I can't remember what its called I went to one once and it had loads of sewing machines in the window.0

I think the buyer thought very carefully indeed about what they wanted..................

I dont like the the thought of someone after a kids shoes i have to say its decidedly foul, but i dont think its a pedophile merely a person with a gross fetish. That was all i was trying to say.
For me if someone is convicted of pedophilia or is confirmed as a pedophile[professionally diagnosed], then they should bring back the death penalty. Pedophiles have a very high rate of recidivism and cannot be cured, merely controlled.
All i want is for people to make an informed and reasoned opinion instead of just hearing the word "child" and going hysterical.
hence the link i posted earlier about the paediatrician.
All done by good well meaning people who heard the word "paed" and jumped on it hysterically thinking a child was being hurt when in fact the children were being healed.0 -

And no i do realise not everyone has said this , but pedophiles are a cause close to my heart and i would rather see the authoritys not bothered by peoples misinterpretation of what a pedo is as agaisnt a mere perv so they are left to concentrate on the real criminals and protect the kids.0
