Hello DFW its nice to see you are still here and still on good form:j
As you can see I'm back after a year and a half absence!
Hope you and yours had a good christmas and for new year "lang may yer lum reek!"
I'm back with a vengeance and have signed up for the frugal living challenge to see if I can get maybe one debt completely paid off this year!
I have started couponing as well.:D I am good and only use coupons for things I would normally but for 2014 I'm only going to use coupons if it means I will get something completely free or get a wee bit of overage on it to spend on other things! I have also started getting my shopping at 1idls or a1dis so the only time I will use Mr T is when I go coupon shopping! That will mean points for nowt and free shopping at the end of the year if all goes to plan!
I already have a 3 month stock of loo roll, probably a 12 month stock of shampoo/conditioner/soap/toothpaste and roll on deodorants for DD1 as she is now at that age!
I'm also working through a stock of rice (made overage on that) and tinned tomatoes (free) but I did overspend on pressies for the kids.
OH is still around, although for how much longer is dependant on him changing his ways as he is still acting like he is single.
I wont bore you with the whole sorry story, but suffice to say he is on a sticky wicket at the moment:(
Anyhoo, have a great new year and I promise to try and be on here a bit more often than of late :ALBM - August 2008 - Debts then - £33390 - 2nd LBM - November 2009 - Debts then - £18500:mad:

Happy New Year to you all thank you for remembering me :happyhear
I've been so ill all over xmas, i've popped on and off of here but then would get tired just reading :rotfl:so never got round to updating my own diary (and replying to threads I read). I lost my voice completely for 2 days and today it's slightly better but if i've talked for too long it goes again so I should keep quiet really until my throat is feeling better :rotfl:
Kids had a great christmas and were spoilt by grandparents as well as usit was our first (of many I hope) DF Xmas's and I wanted a nice one. Just a shame we all got ill at one point or other, which of course is typical isn't it! We had a 600 mile (sort of) round trip to all the family all over the period I was ill and so was DH. It was quite lucky we didn't have to clean or cook eh!
I managed to do my target of £3000 by Jan 1st :T:j. I kind of cheated though and used Jan's budget to get there on December 31st :rotfl: does it still count?:D
We spent double the budget we had on the petrolit was so expensive (grr). And we overspent on food slightly too (if you take out the alcohol though we did actually pretty well
).
I've de-christmassed (not a word as lots of squiggly red line under it  it should be!) the house and had a spring clean. The hoover finally broke though:(. Suppose at least it lasted until after christmas and I have just bought one on @mazon for half price :j. Also got myself a steam cleaner which had £20 off :j £150 for both which I thought was a bargain:T eagerly awaiting delivery nowYes I am this sad.
I will post up new targets and budgets and "stuff" when I've got a little more time. MIL is here atm and i'm pretending to do the banking suppose I best go and join in .
Sorry I haven't replied to you all separately, but wishing you all a frugal happy 2014 . And bonsibabe, i'm still debating whether to join the frugal living challenge, I already live life to budgets and scrimp and save not sure it would be any different if I join that. I am desperate to move though and rightmove is my second most looked at site on the internet I reckon. Will think on it more
