I went and sat with DD for the last half hour
she was fine though she was playing with one of the youth club workers
£1 well spent
Dh has been bugging me to go to his mum's house! So she called me in the end and I've arranged to go on Wednesday and stay over until Thursday. Kids want to go trick or treating so will have to get back in time for that. Can feel a headache coming already at the stress
I've had cupboard fixed today no cost to me and thankfully I was first on his list because as soon as he got here his office was calling telling him all his appointments have been cancelled so he could go fix fences that had blown away! He did my cupboard first though so no need to rebook thankfully
Last bill of the month paidso anything in bank can be used for trip to Mil now! Will try and get as much washing done as possible as I think all our jumpers are in there. I've been forewarned it's cold there!
As for vsnquis well I've received my confirmation today that my debt is settled (about time! ) but nothing for hubbys account yet? There must be something wrong?? Wouldn't mind but it was our smallest debt for less than £200MORTGAGE BALANCE when we moved Aug 2024, £120,000. January 1st £118,267.06. Just checked my emails and I've a date to start my homestart course! It's next week! Hopefully it's easy to find as it's the other side of town to us and down a back street (and I'm renowned for getting lost
) looking forward to it though

Garden looks the same (shame...) no damage though really, lots of fallen trees and trampolines in middle of roads though ( see the kids must have known so put loads of carp all over ours as added weight and ours is one of the only ones to stay put
)
There are loads of pictures on Facebook of flying trampolines - not sure why people did not secure them?!?! (I don't mean yours as yours was weighted down:rotfl:) Just wondering what would happen if they did severe damage - would insurance pay out?debtfreewannabe321 wrote: »Just checked my emails and I've a date to start my homestart course! Woo hoo - how exciting!!
I think you need to drive over there before next week and take a walk around so you find it. |Nothing worse than worrying and panicing on your first day and arriving hot and sweaty!!0 -
I've got a debt-free badge
You too Kerri!!:T

As for flying trampolines- a 10ft one flew over the fence and hit my friend's carshe called insurance and apparently you have to pay for excess but it won't put your premium up next year. I would be banging on the door that owned the trampoline for that too! Mine didn't have a lot of weight on but that small extra (thanks kids! ) really helped

I totally missed the homestart comment, yay
congratulations that's quite exciting.
I used to work in insurance, they say that it won't put the premium up... but it does as it makes you more of a risk than someone who didn't have a trampoline fly into them. Not that you're a worse driver, but that you're more likely to make a claim and cost them money. Bit rude really, but it's just the way it is.Diary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance::dance:
