    Trying to shift that debt!
  • Spendy day today! (Payday :j)

£119 in a1di, farm shop & butchers (still need a bit more that I couldn't get in any of these though :()
£280 on car tax (only £45 from this pay day though as the rest was saved and also cobbled together from left over pots from last month :T)

Need to go to pet shop and get more wet food for the world's fussiest bl00dy dog. He hasn't eaten his dinner this morning because it was tuna, and stupid me forgot he doesn't like tuna :wall: he drives me potty with his fussiness !!!!

Need to do the banking, dh gave me some cash this morning so nothing has been spent on my card yet until i check bank! He tried to get out of giving me the set amount for the budget (again!) but i'm not having any of it not after all the problems he's caused before with the budget. I will make sure I get the rest tomorrow morning! I've not had any money yet from tenant or friend for babysitting services, so will need to hold off on transferring any money to savings accounts until then (unless they've paid since I checked my fast balance this morning on my phone).

Sausage & mash for dinner. Nice and easy as i'm lazy and hate cooking ;) Bread is cooking & DW is on, am popping to shops now and then hoping for a quiet ish afternoon still got headache, am wondering now if it's my sinuses playing up as it's the right time of year for it for me?! Headache for 4/5 days straight is no fun!

Whilst in a1d1 getting my monthly shop I had to explain to at least half a dozen people why I had so much :o and how many kids I had to feed :o tad embarrassing and I didn't get everything I needed as I had no more room left in trolley :o hence me popping back out again in a mo :rotfl:only needing fish and white vinegar and a few other bits though so hopefully no more than £20-30 (fish is so expensive when you're feeding 8 )

    BBL :A

kerri kindly sent me a link for cheap duvets so I've just ordered what I needed ;) less than £50 for 3 too :)

Right school run now then 3 hours of chaos till I get to sit down again! Oh and I'm not impressed my door has gone 3 times today each time I've rushed to get it its been a delivery for neighbours! Where is my airer!!!! Lol.

Hope it arrives soon. I am always taking neighbours parcels in. I am waiting on a few bits to arrive too but guess they are not coming today.

I too am childminding today as friend daughter was poorly at nursery this morning so i now have her - she better not infect the rest of us as i will not be happy!

  • My airer arrived! It's got its first load of washing on and I'll update on the results in the morning :T

Another bit of good news is I'm not looking after the kids in the morning just the afternoon :) so my 3 get to chill out by themselves for a while (which they have asked for all afternoon bless them! )

    Bedtime now am exhausted!

  • Airer is huge!!! And it dried all the clothes in one night as it said :T well aside from 4 things that had sort of fallen off, I think the dog had nestled in underneath as it was warm and pulled a few things down from the bottom rungs :rotfl:I am putting another wash on this morning as it's raining I will use it again this afternoon :T I need to find a more permanent place for it though as it's going to be pretty wet from here on in I think and I don't want it in my front room looking ugly with washing everywhere ;).

I had another busy day yesterday but got quite a lot done, I also bought a basket for my bike so I can use it for school runs (carrying lunchboxes & bookbags!) and small shopping trips :T. I need to do the banking this morning as money was paid in yesterday. Not sure how much and by whom though as my fast balance was playing havoc with me! So am on the laptop to do that this morning :)

Kids have driven me mad this morning. 4/6 have tested me and my patience :( ds1 started at 7:09am and the morning just went downhill from there on in. C1 refused to leave for school with the neighbour's son (they usually walk in together as they are in the same class) I am now wondering if it's to do with bullying as I remember my friend telling me she was getting picked on by a few people in the class and the neighbour's son is a bit too confident for C1's liking I think (he's lovely but I wouldn't put it past him to join in with taunts...) Then C2 asked for toast and refused to eat it and shouted at me  good job it wasn't one of mine i'd have sent them to the naughty step with a sore bum by this point!! We had a bit of an altercation between C2 & DS2 yesterday, not sure the ins and outs but ds2 just happened to hit C2 (with a small dumbell :eek::eek::eek:) just as his mum walked in the gate to collect them :( I feel like my powers of supervision to little people is crumbling as time goes by. They are slowly driving me insane with their rudeness, attitude & stubbornness (this goes for all 6 kids, my friends and mine!)

Anyway today WILL be a nsd. I don't need anything and I am not going anywhere my house needs cleaning and i'm feeling delicate after the kids bashing me (methaphorically speaking) this morning. Debating putting a stew on for dinner, also debating googling how to make gruel instead (or do you think this is a tad too far :rotfl:)

Right, i'm off to check finances and get on with something.....(not sure what yet)

If you want something really yummy for tea, I made a delicious minestrone soup yesterday: http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/4807/chunky-minestrone-soup

Hope your day improves, I'm totally feeling the "not going anywhere" feeling today. I am meant to go to pregnancy yoga this evening, but unless I develop some energy from somewhere I'm staying put!

I don't see why not, I think the celery made it so I didn't need to put any salt in. Give it a go and see what happens then report back :)
