That looks are really positive thing to be helping with. You'd be brilliant at it.
Looked at the site and the nearest one to me looking for any volunteers is over 50 miles away but we are opening a food bank so might look into that. The concept of food poverty is disgusting in a country like this but a lot is down to people not knowing what to prepare unless it comes ready made. Again, something you'd be so good at teaching on the ground.
Good on you...world would be abetter place if there were more peeps like you.

Thank you both
I don't feel like i'm doing anything special *yet* maybe once I get in to help a family and see a result I might think differently. I am just so grateful for all the little (and not so little) guardian angels :A i've had (some even on here! Sent to give me the right bit of advice when I needed it the most) and I feel it's only right to pay back in what ever ways I can....plus I really am considering trying getting an actual paid job in this sort of area so want to see how I go. It asked on the application what sort of areas I could help in that I had actual experience of myself :rotfl: oh my, the list was a long one...and not forgetting cooking from scratch, budgeting :money:, amongst many others that i've learned along the way :A. Let's hope some of my struggles will be able to help someone else avoid the mistakes I made :rotfl:

Oh if I were only more organised
...in fact I probably was organised just without the means to buy it last spring. Hmm I hope i'm not paying a premium now to get it at the 'right time' of year?

So far for one single, one double, one kingsize duvet it's coming in between £350-400 depending on what it's made from (i;e wool, goose down!) I'm utterly shocked  And if I buy a nice one for 3 beds I need to buy a fourth really as the all season one we have is a really cheap one from argus i think (which isn't great hence I haven't gone back to them for the rest
) Is it worth it do you think?? Argh, someone help i'm confused
!

I got decent ones from Debenhams as they always seem to be on sale and then they have their 20% off days.
I'd rather have decent and change every two or three years than really expensive because I know the second I do, cat will be ill or coffee will be spilt etc. But that's just this lunatic asylum:A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. Im sure mine was about £25. Do you want a down duvet? We have a down duvet that's hardly used and I can't use it anymore as ive become allergic. It's a lovely warm doubleDiary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:
