She's still around on fb. I'll send her a message.

DFW is fine, she says hi to everyone. Her laptop is broken again and off for repair and she can't get on here on her phone.

She'll be back as soon as she can :)

  • Hi All!!!

    Happy pancake day!
I hope you're all well? My laptop died back before xmas and I was naughty and only sent it off for repair last week! However, they have sent it back already and it's fixed (for now). I don't seem to have much luck with these things do I!
I've been saving, and planning my escape and saving some more. My spreadsheets were all lost when the laptop died :'( so I wasn't too impressed with that. I've started them all again and updated them and hopefully they won't be lost again (thought they were backed up to dropbox but I can't find them :( )

My eldest son was offered a place at a really good school where I want to move to on the condition he gets all As & Bs in his core GCSE subjects. No panic or pressure there then! We are both visiting Lincoln next week for an interview at a back up school. I'm praying they like him and make an offer also without conditions on it :D lol.

I'm still looking after the two girls before and after school but it's not paid too well but the money pays for my meditation course each week so really it all evens out ;)

I got a book out today on self sufficiency, which I hope to make notes on for when I move. I want pigs, hens, ducks and bees. DH says no :( Booo. I will get the hens anyway and perhaps I will just sneak in a new animal once a month, do you think he will notice? :rotfl:

I've been in touch with a mortgage advisor and we will get a yes or a no on whether we can get a mortgage very soon. If it's a no then we will proceed with renting for now. Either way i'm off and i'm on countdown :p

DH has been trying to get a transfer with work. They are being utter (insert naughty word of choice here) and have turned him down at every opportunity. So it's putting a little bit of a dampener on things really as he will be left behind when we go, literally. We will keep trying though. I'm sure there will be a good opportunity for him soon. On the upside he's due a promotion any time soon which although not a great pay rise in itself means that he will be a senior at work and possibly more opportunities may arise because of it!

I am sure I have so much more to tell you, as always! But I can't think what right now. I will try and catch up with you all over the next few days, although because it's half term I won't promise anything lol xxx
