Sending you hugs DFW..and any time you want me to come round and tell that SIL of yours a few home truths ;) I will be there ;) :rotfl:.. I think I'd rather enjoy it!

:rotfl: I bet you would! She's a teacher (secondary school- science) and she talks to us (her family) like we're one of her kids in her class. Everyone ignores it usually but i've seen one of her sisters & DH telling her what-for before now when they'd had enough of it. But generally we just ignore and ignore some more :o:rotfl:. She's very unhappy at home and wants to leave her hubby but won't do because he will take the kids away from her (apparently his brother is a lawyer and has loadsa money!) so she stays and takes her rage out on anyone that is within listening distance of her *sigh*! Some people huh!

  • Oooh where abouts in Lincs are you moving to?! (PM me if you don't want to put it out there!) Sister is near Sleaford, friends in Quarrington, and used to work in Spilsby! :D Lovely flat countryside... and lots of planes!! :D

YAY for the docs. My docs you have to ring at 8am and book an 'emergency' appt. And tell them on the desk what the emergency is even though it is doctor patient privilege! They are very good at fitting you in though. And they have emergency evening appointments, if you just go in and sit down once you have called in after 5pm you will get seen but like you it could be 2 hours... :) Booked an appt for a non emergency a week and a half ago... the earliest they had was 22nd September!! :D lol.

Fingers crossed the tests come back and give indicators of something! :D that way you can be fixed! And hope the tablets work :) I've had everything going over the years for 'heavy' flow. Side effects of my endo. Currently got an implant that is working very well :D:D

I too am present shopping today :D a little cafe for my little miss. And some t-shirts for nephew.

    Have a lovely day! xx

I was also diagnosed with endo last year but the severity of the pain is erratic and there is no pattern. One month I am ok (I say ok I still have pain and heavy flow but it's manageable) and the next month i'm floored for weeks. I had an injection to help with the pain many years ago and I had a bad reaction to it (same with pills and coil ) and so they've told me not to try the implant. I hope these tablets help as you will know first hand how horrible it is to have put everything on hold for that week of the month! Be nice not to have to worry :)

I got some great bargains at the shops earlier :T all 50% off in the entertainer in their flash sale so i've made a start at last :D. I also ordered DD a lovely necklace from w@rren j@mes in their sale too (plus 5.25% cashback) she's not a big fan of toys as such and would prefer some high heels and a handbag :rotfl: so I thought she might like that!

Right bed time best rush off....lilt I will pm you in a bit about Lincs :D

  • Afternoon!

I've been volunteering all morning so busy busy. Only realised on the way home that I had no petrol left so had to make a quick diversion to the nearest petrol station  (luckily it was tatco so nice and cheap). I've been feeling very bleurgh about myself and my appearance lately so I have had a bit of a pamper afternoon (well pamper hour :rotfl:) and have had a nice bubble bath, exfoliated, put a face mask on shaved and used some nice oil on my face to try and counteract all the dehydrated skin, spots and lines  I found another grey hair too so I am wondering how long it will be now until I have a head full . I used some new shampoo that I had been saving until the last one ran out and my hair & scalp feel lovely and refreshed now, the last one had aggravated my irritation and sore spots so am hoping this one (from neal's yard so much more expensive!) will fix that! However after using it I hid it so no one else could nick it :o how naughty is that!

I am just waiting on money coming in now really before I can do much this month. I think the way these little surprises keep coming I will be able to pay back funds that i've "borrowed" from and that will be it :rotfl: Must remember at least it won't have left me minus money though so it's all good really. I'm only around £130 away from £11k in savings for the house so I really do want to put that in there to make that milestone :) We'll see though, there's always next month I suppose!

Kids have swimming tonight and so I will have to quickly find dinner and prepare before I leave! I hope everyone is well and I will try and catch up with you all when I have 5 minutes :)

Ah I was hoping some fellow mummies would understand :rotfl: and make me feel less selfish for hiding it :o ! It did make me feel a tad better for a bit too :T however I'm now tucked up in bed absolutely exhausted with not an iota of energy :(if the neighbours kids weren't so noisy I'd probably be asleep by now lol! Hoping for a better day tomorrow as volunteering again and then colouring my friends hair for her as well as waiting up for my hairdresser to come round at 8 to cut my hair! (Really hope I'm not as tired as today :rotfl: wonder if she could cut whilst I nap :p) Need to do my banking but it can wait until tomorrow too I think!

Great to hear you're almost near the £11k mark, yay!!! :j Also that you found some me time...you should do that more often.
