Granny & Alex, if only you both lived closer, but alas I need to be back by the school run so no can do (phew :rotfl:)
If you'd made it double chocolate fudge cake I might have considered it more closely though :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Tuesday - Living Room, Hall and downstairs loos
[STRIKE]15 Minutes..
15 minutes tidying, putting away or sorting a pile in the corner
30 minutes to spare..
Hoover the floor
Wipe mug rings and sticky finger prints away, wipe the remote control[/STRIKE]
Got an hour...
Sort out a cupboard in one of these areas
[STRIKE]Clean the toilet and sink[/STRIKE] Work on that paperwork mountain with 15 minutes shredding, filing, recyling etc
Extra challenge:
[STRIKE]Locate wellies and waterproofs, check they fit[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Change pet bedding, they will be spending even more time in them now the weather is turning
[/STRIKE] I've done the morning shift and that's out the way thankfully as I feel so tired today. I'm sure the weather's not helping! I have it a little easier in the mornings now as my eldest gets himself off, the second eldest (C1) is 9 and is allowed to walk to school with my neighbour's son now who's in the same class as her :T so one less chatterbox on the way down to school (5 min walk) I then have to shepherd the other 4 to the playground and the next two eldest are allowed to go in alone now so I just have to see the 2 youngest to class. And I used to think I had it hard with just 2 kids to get to school. People with big families, I applaud you! :T!!
I'm off for a bike ride this morning whether it's raining or notand then I will come home and probably need to dry off before starting on flylady :rotfl:. I need to put on some mince & veg in the slow cooker to make a shepherd's pie later and then i'm going to relax for at least half hour. DH is home this weekend thankfully :j i've missed him loads (and all his help!) so looking forward to that
Oh and I couldn't wait any longer for the tenancy money, I took out some money from the DD pot (I have DD's due throughout the month that the companies won't change so I put it in there and transfer across, I always put a bit extra in for the v1rgin & mobiles as unsure what they will be until they go) I've put it across to the ISA as I needed to log onto my bank and see a nice round figure of £1000 (OCD!!!!!!!) :rotfl: I just hope i've got enough to cover all the bills now :rotfl: I think I will as some of that money was to cover the DMP which is obviously all paid up now ...so my savings are at 20% of my first target :T :j

Well I've had an eventful bike ride! It started with me driving to the meeting point and accidentally parking in some sgt mjr's space, oops! I got barked at by some lacky and so moved the car but wasn't happy and so grumbled about it and he turned around and shouted 'Did you just call me miserable?' So I replied "no, I called you a miserable !!!!!!! Close enough though" :rotfl: and so ensued a big row in the car park right outside ds2's old nursery . I absolutely detest the way people in the army think they can get away with being rude to people! He certainly got an earful I can tell you :rotfl:
Whilst on bike ride I found myself being signed up for a free course to allow me to become a volunteer with the NHS health matters team :T the course starts next month :j
Back home and a quick wash is on as the rain has broken and its nice and windy to dry it! I've put the mince on and hidden lots of veg in it :rotfl: I need to hoover house (aka spider hunt) and go to a!di so looks like no rest for the wicked!MORTGAGE BALANCE when we moved Aug 2024, £120,000.
