Aw thanks for sharing that Steph, I think you come across as very positive so I can see how you have been like it before. I think life knocks us sometimes and if it's one after the other after the other we struggle to get back up to where we were. I know I did. DH was saying to me the other day I used to be happy-go-lucky. I don't even remember feeling like this it seems so long ago
We can both get there though
Today I have a meeting about me vandalising the fence *excuse me whilst I laugh* I've also been giving "dirty looks" and I need a telling off.:rotfl: If I'm totally honest I don't really know how an ASBO works but they want me to sign an asbo thing today and HER next door too. I'm going to refuse. Everything coming out of her mouth is a lie. I intend on taking pictures with me showing our side of the fence is fine. It's hers that has been destroyed by a bored dog. I want evidence to all of my supposed short-comings before I sign anything :rotfl:. Fools. I think my welfare have seen through her, they've passed HER on to another welfare and said they can only represent one family and we are her family not them. Everyone thinks she is childish I think and want her out of the way. I shall just carry on as I am as I'm doing nothing wrong.
I'm even sending her love daily, the cheeky mare :rotfl: Everytime I think something bad about her I stop myself and say nope I will send you love instead. I don't think about the situation as much as I used to :rotfl: wonder why!
Dog is having a hair cut, i've asked her to cut his beard a bit shorter as mince keeps getting caught in it. I have to clean him up after every single meal/treat as i'm so paranoid about raw meat going anywhere near the kids.
Done my banking. I forgot pancake day  kids of course reminded me. I may go and buy a cheap frying pan and some eggs and they can have it for dinnerone dinner of pancakes is ok right? Nice and easy, probably not very cheap though after you buy all the stuff to go on them though! I need to go to a$da to take some school trousers back as they don't fit DS1 so will get it all there!
Anyway first things first, school run, get rid of 5 fighting kids  and then straight on to the meeting. I am trying to keep still inside, but atm my tummy is flipping as I hate confrontations which this will be of sorts as she will have a whole list of things I have to confirm or deny doing! Anyway now i've got the laptop off ds1 i will report back laterMortgage Overpayments 2024/25 - September-December, £152.46. J- £103.27, F- £115, M- £91.50, A- £100, M- £200, J- £200. J- £200. I think all that love i've been sending her has been intercepted by the dog next door :rotfl: she's still as determined as ever to get into my garden rather than stay in her own :rotfl:
I was in the meeting over an hour and it's been decided I will sign the forms tomorrow as it's not an asbo as I originally thought :rotfl:. I had my say though and I think the welfare was shocked at her behaviour as i've just kept it to myself all along. I've also written a letter documenting everything that has happened, stage by stage from my viewpoint as all they have had is hers. I suppose in a way that was making me look guilty and there was me thinking it made me look more mature just ignoring it but she's gone so far with her "story" now that I have had to stand up for myself now. I've included pictures of the fence on my side you can see it hasn't been damaged from our end and I also showed a pic of her garden/ our garden next to one another. Guess who's garden is filled with shredded bamboo (here's a hint, it's not mine) I'm signing the thing tomorrow. There is nothing to stop her continually lying but i've said I want evidence now of everything I've supposedly done and everyone seems to agree. So here's hoping it all stops [touches wood] but haven't I been here and said this all before huh .
I went to a$da and returned the trousers afterward but it was packed so i didn't look for another pair i will bring DS1 with me as no doubt I'll get the wrong ones again! I picked myself up a fluffy jumper as I needed a new nightgown but this looked more practical and I can see me using it more and it was half price :T so I am happy.
Good things today:
*The sun is shining
*My washing is on the line
*I feel positive
*Doggy has had a haircut (still smells though:eek:)
*We're having pancakes for dinner (tea to all you northerners) and i've made a banana & sultana loaf as we have one allergic to eggs :T
*House is relatively clean
*I strangely feel positive about the neighbour situation now i've got it all off my chest and on to paper and delivered to the correct officials (I even made a copy for her welfare wasn't that nice of me)
*Money has arrived in DH's ISA:j His details arrived this morning so I could check
I am thinking of finding the kids chalk and drawing a parking space for myself so I know where I can and can't park. Do you think this will be seen as further antagonism though :rotfl: Anyway the banana loaf is nearly cooked I best go and get it out and take the dog out quickly :A See ya all laterMortgage Overpayments 2024/25 - September-December, £152.46. Stay firm with them over your neighbour, ask for evidence if she claims that you have done anything to her.
Hopefully you have had a restful evening. Enjoy the banana loaf.x:j Debtfree and and staying that way.:j3-6 month emergency fund, No.61 £140.000 -
Morning.
i've some good news and bad news! Good news is I have a tenant waiting to move into my property :T. No pets, no kids and they (3 men) are all working (Polish) so I hope this goes well. That house I must say seems so doomed I almost feel sorry for it.
It's nearly Friday too so that is good news
Not so good news, was yesterday's meeting. I feel so backed into a corner regarding the neighbourly issues that I had a last minute panic and told them I wasn't signing anything. Didn't have to sign anything anyway as it happens. Still the issue has been escalated to the next level and we are supposed to keep logs on each other's behaviour. I will do no such thing and told them so, I won't be watching her all the time to watch her put a step wrong, if she does something truly awful I will log it but otherwise I don't care what she does so long as she leaves me alone. I've been told i'm silly basically as she will have her log book filled up in a week no doubt. Let her and when she takes ridiculous claims to court such as "DF parked an inch over her designated space, DF looked at me glaringly, DF's children touched my fence" etc etc who is going to be laughed at. Surely no one in their correct mind will take that seriously. And let's face it that is all she has been doing so far, is petty trivial complaints. The more serious complaints are outrageous lies which I have denied anyway ....she bl00dy deserves the odd dirty look in my opinion after trying to slander my name and make my life hell!
Bad news I still can't work out windows 8so have been avoiding the laptop. Have spent an hour this morning uninstalling things that ds1 has put on too as it was doing something funny to it. Also can't stop pop ups even though I put an adware blocker on
grr!
I found a little boy the other day younger than my son, he was wandering the streets (literally) and I had to call the police to collect him. His mother was found and guess what 50 minutes after I had found him (who knows how long he'd been out already) and she hadn't even noticed. Apparently they all let their kids out in her country as soon as they can walk and there is usually an older kid looking after the younger ones. There was noone in sight otherwise I would have asked where he had come from. I'm shocked and disgusted. So much for a thank-you hey.
DH has been working 18 hours a day and sleeping out in the cold in a sleeping bag (no tent) so is Mr Joyful himself when I speak to him (NOT) I can't wait until he is home, but that is only for a week and then he is gone for another month so i'm not too happy as everything has indeed kicked off again with HER as he predicted
Good news again, i have some flowers coming up in my garden :T They never flowered last year as I must have planted them too late but they have made me smile everytime I look outsideand we have 2 bluetits, 1 robin and 2 magpies that frequent the bird feeder that DD asked for for xmas, although they are so quick she is yet to see them. In the pics I take they are like a little dot, so small :A.
We have a birthday party invite for end of the month. One day BEFORE payday to be precise  and it is 120 miles away and fancy dress (animal fancy dress that we have none of) and I will need money for food after as it will be dinnertime as we leave the party. Oh Joy..
Not sure how the bank is doing will check that in a moment as not been on here in so longi've done daily checks on my phone though so I know it is still in credit, just!

Great news about the tenants :T
Shame the neighbour is still being an a*se. Seriously, is she still at school?? It's pathetic."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
