            Morning :j
I've taken my berroca (actually it's an a$da own brand :money:) and had a hot lemon drink today in the hope of flushing out whatever it is I have  yet again last night I had hot and cold sweats all night  i've no idea what this bug is but it's annoying. However i'm enjoying the clean sheets each and every night :rotfl: I must look at the positives! I'm currently watching the hoarder next door, this programme they have a couple with a huge collection of things in every room, but at least I suppose it's ordered (sort of) and much cleaner than the usual ones they visit. In fact it reminds me of my mum's house  I used to drive her mad as whenever i'd visit i'd leave with a huge box for the skip/charity shop/to be recycled :money:) and had a hot lemon drink today in the hope of flushing out whatever it is I have  yet again last night I had hot and cold sweats all night  i've no idea what this bug is but it's annoying. I've only got a £2 spend for today planned, for youth club. I've also got DD's parent's evening right after i've dropped her off at youth club so I will have to rush back to the school so I don't miss it. DS2's is tomorrow morning. My ds1 is doing practice interviews all day today, he's worn a suit to school with a tie that isn't a school one and he's feeling very grown up I think bless him he did look very smart. I think it's a good idea that they are taught interview techniques, I don't ever remember having anything similar at school I do remember what our headteacher told us though "stand up straight, give a firm handshake, always give eye contact and stand up when people enter and leave. You won't go far wrong with that" :rotfl::rotfl: I've always done well in interviews so he must have been right! Still i'm sure practice interviews are more fun and you get to skive off lessons for a whole day! bless him he did look very smart. Evening, well just the £2 spends today which were already planned anyway. I need to buy a stamp but haven't had time to get to the post office (actually yes I have but I was being too lazy earlier!) I had DD's meeting with her teacher earlier and it all went well she's at the right stage for writing, reading and her maths needs a little help (ummm she probably takes after me ) but I will try and catch her up at home. I got a text from ds1 whilst in there and he'd had to wait in the garden for half hour because he'd left his key at home this morning. Got a whole barrage of abuse from him which made me so angry  I've now set new rules. Lights out at 10pm, dinner to be eaten at the table, and homework to be done at the table. He's totally anti social towards the whole family and i'm sick of it!!!! Grrr. ) but I will try and catch her up at home. He brought me a letter after we rowed saying how well he was doing at school and he'd been chosen along with only one other person in the year to do some sort of leadership programme. So clearly he is an angel at school and a little !!!! for me at home. He makes me so mad sometimes I could throttle him!!! I told him so too as the letter just proved how different he is at home
Anyway after scrubbing the kitchen clean, i've just realised how late it is and I still need to do other jobs upstairs before going to bed!
As a side note, i've been smelling smoke all day long  like smokers smoke. And yet no one in the house smokes, well no one that has been here all day, it's all very strange and it makes me feel queasy. Wonder what's causing it ??!Mortgage Overpayments 2024/25 - September-December, £152.46. J- £103.27, F- £115, M- £91.50, A- £100, M- £200, J- £200. J- £200. A-£200, S- £221.34. Sorry DS is being a pain, glad he's well behaved away from home though as it shows he's not all bad. It does get easier honest but is very hard to cope with at the time.
If you are feeling no better tomorrow, especially in light of the smelling things that aren't there, please book a Dr's appointment. Hope you feel better in the morning

I took an antihistamine this morning because I think my hayfever has started up again and lo and behold most of my strange symptoms have disappeared including strange smells  I googled what could be the reason behind strange smells and it's not uncommon with problems with sinuses and ear/throat/nose etc so hopefully that is all it was because as always there is always a brain tumour link when you self-diagnose!
Today was a NSD and I got fed a scrumptious lunch :j:T was delicious and all I had to do was come up with some healthy eating ideas (I had tonnes! and all on a budget of course :money::D) and offer my time to help with some courses for HS families seemed a bargain to me at the time, we'll see how it pans out though once I go to do it. I still managed to eat a huge dinner too so I think my appetite is back :T and probably the few lbs i think i managed to lose whilst not well :rotfl: seemed a bargain to me at the time, we'll see how it pans out though once I go to do it. I was supposed to be at my meditation evening but I forgot and after being reminded at 6.30 I cancelled I was exhausted after being out all day and then walking the dog for an hour ( so maybe not quite 100% better just yet lol) I have said I can make tomorrows one so I best get an early night in today so I can stay awake tomorrow for it . I also have to finish a book before then as I need to return it to her, that's 3 books I have on the go at the moment  i'm getting slightly confused and it takes me a few pages to remember where I was at, and what i'm reading about. It's like being back at uni again :rotfl:. . I have a lady coming out tomorrow to deem whether my fence is good enough (well actually not exactly mine really...) but my welfare lady wasn't too impressed with what had been put up so we'll see what is said. I'm really not looking forward to it and hoping this doesn't start her off again. It's been strangely quiet her side so I was hoping it had all died down. Probably not though as I did say that last time
DH & I put some money into shares last year and we took most of it out again and spent it but we left £100 in there to avoid charges, well I receieved an email about it the other week reminding me and so I sent DH the log in details as to be honest i'm not very left-brained at all but we left £100 in there to avoid charges, well I receieved an email about it the other week reminding me and so I sent DH the log in details as to be honest i'm not very left-brained at all and didn't have a clue what I was doing. Anyway, he sold them for £200 so we made £100 profit :T he's reinvested it elsewhere but I may ask him to take some out if he sells at a profit again and put it in the isa as I am not very clued up but I think he could quite easily lose money as well as making it and i'd rather strike while the iron is hot and take it out and put it somewhere safe and didn't have a clue what I was doing. DS1 sat at the table with all 5 other kids and myself today for dinner. It was such a novelty the kids kept asking why he'd never done it before and was he being punished :rotfl::rotfl: he certainly thought he was I also made him do his homework after a snack and drink when he came in from school. I'm not having a repeat of a homework session at midnight again. I don't know how he got up for school on Monday!!! Talking of school I had ds2's parent's morning so that's all of them out of the way for now (can you tell they're not my favourite pasttime!). I've offered to walk my friend's dog tomorrow as she looked like she was going to pull her hair out earlier at the thought of it. She looked so tired and her hubby is away as much as mine (more actually this year) and she works 4 days a week so I feel her pain (from way back when I used to do this with just one child and NO dog!) but i'm super allergic to it and have just remembered i've run out of antihistamines, suppose i ought to buy some more really before I go get her. Won't be able to have her in my house or car either so not really sure where I can walk her  will have to have a think on this one!
