Morning :hello:
Our new laptop has arrived :T it's huge compared to my little netbook, which should be a good thing as I always have to zoom out on things on here to see the whole thing :T. DH's new phone is due for arrival today as well so will wait for that and then i'm free to leave the house.
Kids are back to school this morning, they were happy to go back I think, DS2 even wore his school trousers one day last week telling me he missed going in :rotfl:.
Oooooooh....New laptop & phone arrived all at once :j. That was my positive thinking at play there, i'm sure of it . I asked that they both arrive this morning so I can go out and do things, and I received a text right after saying one was due at 1pm and one was due between 12-9 ()! And both have arrived within 5 minutes of one another. Yay!
I've cancelled my bank card as I lost it last week and still haven't found it, I'm sure it is around somewhere but can't be sure I didn't drop it in currys when I was getting the new bluray so thought I best be on the safe side and cancel it. I've still not received a refund from amazon, will keep an eye open for that and transfer it straight to savings again.
Hope everyone is well, this will be my last post from this netbook now as i'm going to go and work out windows 8 and set the new one up :T. Will try and catch up with you all once i've worked it out.Mortgage Overpayments 2024/25 - September-December, £152.46. J- £103.27, F- £115, M- £91.50, A- £100, M- £200, J- £200. J- £200. Well I've got about 60 pages into the book and DH came home again with a whole list of accusations against me from the neighbours. Out went the positivity and in came the negativity again. Given myself a slap, sent dh bk to work to tell them if I hear another lie told about me I will have them done for breaching this useless contract we've signed. We've been told they are angling for a move, which we originally thought, but I'm sick and tired now of being accused of something I'm not. They are harrassing me not the other way around.
Ok anyway bk to the book I really have to keep positive or I might just cry!Mortgage Overpayments 2024/25 - September-December, £152.46. J- £103.27, F- £115, M- £91.50, A- £100, M- £200, J- £200. J- £200. A-£200, S- £221.34. O-£200EF- £642.41/500

Not good - seems they should move you rather than them. Glad DH is home to deal with it. Sounds daft especially as they already seem to know what is a lie and who is doing the lying!

Oh, ***!!! to neighbours.
I know its hard, but try not to let them get you down. It doesn't do anything for you and - she "wins" 'cos she's got you upset.
I speak from years of letting my sisters wind me up. I then learnt that it was more fun seeing them get peeved when they'd try and I wouldn't rise to the bait

I took the dog out had a little scream in the woods and feel better for it
you're both right. And I realy need to stop letting her get to me. It was more outrageous lies on top of the last lot and I just hope people can see through her. All in the name of it looking good on her report to move I guess....big scary neighbours (me!) Shouting and swearing at her and smirking at her *rolls eyes* and she has to invite her parents to stay every time her hubby goes away cos shes scared of me:rotfl: it's laughable really. I firmly believe in karma and whilst she's been throwing out lies to make herself look good I think this will come back to haunt her. Perhaps she'll be moved to somewhere with an even smaller garden....as I think this is the reason why she wants a move. Can you imagine that as her comeuppance :rotfl::p

I'm a firm believer in karma, definitely hope it bites her on the bum in a big way.
Like you i'm a positive person whilst my OH is definitely a negative person, probably why we have been together for the last 30 years. At times when he is on a downer I do find it hard to keep positive, but then I think "well i'm not lowering myself to your level". sounds harsh but I don't want to change, I only have one life and I want to enjoy as much as possible. Wow this is a heavy post.
Keep reading and giving out positive vibes and smile, people will wonder what you have been upto. :)x:j Debtfree and and staying that way.:j3-6 month emergency fund, No.61 £140.000 -
