It's quite hard to find the threads I like, there's so many new diaries on here. I hope all the new starters keep the momentum for the journey.
A very lazy day for me I worked a lot of overtime at the weekend, meaning I'm tired and haven't stirred much from the sofa
DS2 came round yesterday and put up a towel rail, most of my pictures and tapestry. The place is looking 'homey' now
I really ought to do some filing, I have a nice flowery file for 2014 but I can't be bothered to do itMaybe tomorrow......The important thing is the spreadsheet is set up and working and it doesn't have a debts page anymore :T just plain incoming and outgoing. I've done the usual PAD to my savings account any leftover money at the end of the month will join the account, there's optimism for you :rotfl:

It wasn't so much as a column - more of a page:o:o originally it had six credit cards and four loans :eek: It is amazing just having two columns - in and out
Hope all is well in Piqland

It is quite a thing, it takes a while to sink in. If you're like me you'll just carry on paying extra across except it goes to savings not debt.Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30

A day at work done - hurrah! The man who's fitting the catflap wants to come and do it tomorrow or Thursday, but I'm not ready to let Colin out  I'm worried that he won't come home/understand the catflap/get eaten by badgers/blown away in the wind....... I won't tell him and just put the bin in front of it. Maybe I'll let him out at the weekend or maybe not.....Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30

My DD taught her cat to go through the cat flap by building it into a cardboard 'wall' and tempting him through it. Still took him a while to get the hang of it once it was fitted though :rotfl:.A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
