Lol love the fact he will use the catflap on the way out but not on the way in
cats are so funny and very clever so don't be fooled
I bet he'll use it just fine if he wants to. Putting a treat on the inside is a good idea though perhaps he just needs encouragement the first few times!

What a relief that he has obviously now realised this is the new home and is happy to use the flap.0

Great news about Colin! I am not at all surprised about the cat flap usage just surprised you have not had to clip that additional claw he has grown to beckon you with! Hope this helps him settle in.Start info Dec11

How about putting a treat just inside the cat flap opening which may encourage him to use it
Glad he's had a successful first day of using it

I found just getting his food bowl out of the cupboard did the trick! He was through the cat flap in two seconds flat!Great news about Colin! Hey Piq
I'm really glad that colin has got the measure of the cat-flap and that he is returning as readily as he is going out adventurising. After all, this new home and new life is supposed to be far less stressful for you - and I realise that your animals are a high priority and that if they're not happy, then you're not happy. So a good end to this particular story.
But I remain glued for the next instalment from 'Piq's Periodicals'

It's ridiculous how obsessed I am with them all. I try not to bring them into conversations with friends or colleagues. Believe it or not I am quite well read and up-to-date with current affairs, but this is a diary of life and money spending and fracking, the shutdown of Bangkok or the Globes has no place here.Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30

I worked overtime last night giving me a little more money to put in the Captain and Noah's stash. The stayed awake reading a really good book called The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry, I'm really enjoying it.
Yesterday I met Dad for breakfast at the coffee shop, yes I still go there, and what's more I didn't have to pay for the coffee - on the house! :TIt is good coffee, shame about hellcow.
Then I popped into B00ts and spent some moneyThree for two on face wipes, probably not very mse, but marvellous things late at night after a long evening at work. Also picked up bog-off on deodorant and a new mascara. A pint of milk and the spending was done.
I have wilted vegetable soup in the slow cooker, I've changed the bed, fed Colin [twice] and in a little while I'm off to see the Captain:D I have some bad news for him. There is a rooster called Roger in his new field  Apparently Roger regularly walks through the field on his morning constitutional. This is going to ensure plenty of exercise for a few mornings for the Captain until he decides that Roger isn't going to eat him! I suppose the Captain might surprise me and ignore the bird, somehow I don't think this is going to happenTotal debt at October 2008: £67,213.30
