I kind of know what you mean as my OH has colitis (somewhat the same as yours) and has had an operation that removed part of his his bowel, he had a c bag for 5 months and then they put some bowel back in but re-routed it ITMS, he was in and out of hospital for a year.

Thanks weller,not nice is it there's a thread over on the health board about embarassing illnesses I have been posting on,maybe you could put some of your experience on there too,I have had 4 ressections in the last 8 years,terrible illness,but to look at me you wouldn't think there was a problem,it's only when you see the scars people know.

I will be thinking of you - I have been through similar (but not with my top ladies bits ) so I know exactly what you are going through and I think it is the waiting that is the worst!!

I have to have a smear now once a year and I still get a little *fussy* when I'm waiting for results - never before of after - wierd huh

I will certainly attend a party in honour of your mammories
