Just a quick question - does anybody know any foods that give you energy??

Toto - what a touching post, brought a lump to my throat and here I am worrying about being overweight. I need a kick up the backside!!!

are you on green or red Sammy?

No idea yet! However, matters have been taken out of my hands.... Chloe woke up late so I put her breakfast into her bag for the childminder to give it to her. Which reminded me I hadn't had mine... So I made mine, chloe went mad and I had to give her my breakfast. So I have brought her weetabix to work and its sitting on my desk.

My car also needed petrol and oil and instead of popping into the supermarket to buy something healthy I ended up buying a Bernard Matthews tuna sandwich on whitebread (not very SW!) but I did resist the chocolate very admirably and get grapes instead.

So its 10.10am and still not eaten...

    Tigtag - thanks for trying.

Ooops, forgot to mention the E word (exercise)....

I'm not allowed to do too much until I'm 6 weeks post partum (?!) in case my uterus falls out of my bottom or something  but I'm doing the school run twice a day - the school is about 10 minutes away, so there and back, twice a day is 40 minutes walking.

I'm dying to have a game of squash or go swimming though!

LIH- thinking of you and I'm sure everything will be fine.

I kind of know what you mean as my OH has colitis (somewhat the same as yours) and has had an operation that removed part of his his bowel, he had a c bag for 5 months and then they put some bowel back in but re-routed it ITMS, he was in and out of hospital for a year.

    Big hugs xxx

He'll want a party when he comes back to celebrate the booby weight loss. He'll want to weigh each one personally...
