hi vanessa welcome to the challenge. I used weight loss resources too, but I cheated a bit. During my 3 day trial I put loads of different meal plans into the calculator, printed it, deleted and did another. That way I had pretty much everything I eat all there with fat, calories etc. Better than paying I thought and works well as a reference. If I were a complete nerd, I would finish off the spreadsheet I started so I could do my own calorie count every day from all of these print outs. Maybe one day.

my post has disappeared?! Iwrote similar something to this earlier, but it has gone

A Mars bar is 14 syns

White bread is 4 for a medium slice or 5 for a thick slice (or can count as a B choice)
    Wholemeal is the same number.

I've got a SW book with the basics in if anyone needs to know any syn values.

I was very good last night. Opened the fridge very late in the evening and had my hand on the bag of chocolate drops. Stood and thought about a few things for a minute, and had an apple instead

Hi all - great to see how many have been busy :)

I've spent 40p on a bag of fruit at work - really needed something as my energy was low, it helped!

Amani - can you not have the cheese as your second healthy 'a' choice? Then your pasta will be even more tasty :)

I'm having pasta now with the half tin o fchopped toms that's been in the fridge for a while now and 28g chedder for my healthy a. Had crunchy bran and skim milk for breakfast. Will be having chicken and veg stir fry for tea, perhaps with rice or potatoes.

Going to make a reall effort to do something exercise related - will get back to you on this!! :) I'll be posting a thread later about my gym and what to do - it's complicated and I need MSE advice!

15 syns each!!!!!!!!!!Oh MI GOD. No wonder I am not losing the weight. I used to be really good and have the warburtons wholemeal bread (small loaf) and use as a healthy extra but have slipped lately.

Oh well, I will just have to take it on the chin. I had to buy it as I can't abide the brown bread with bits on it that they make prepackaged sandwiches with...and they only had tuna on white bread

I might be wrong but I think its 15 sins in a Mars Bar not a slice of bread

Just think of all the calories you burnt off worrying about it!

I've had a good food day today. No syns so far. Although I did spend £5 in the supermarket!!!! AND I still have Amazon parcels to post. Oh well, there is always tomorrow.

I hear vaseline works better. You'll have to start with that... :T
