    Hey

My target weight is 10 stone, so I have a little way to go yet. I find I have to stay to class otherwise I'm never going to do it. I've been fussy around with this half stone since April. I'm getting a little tired of it now.

But I am having a better week this week, so hopefully something will come off (anything, I don't mind what!)

Life is very up and down. I'm a control freak and a bit of a perfectionist, so I don't deal well when things go wrong.

But I'll get there, it just might take a little bit longer.

Hey - I'm a SWer too :) Been on and off for about 5 years (2 babies!). I too get to those points where I hover around the same weight for a couple of months, but then something clicks and I lose a bit more before hovering again! Grrr.

I hate the hovering. It's so annoying! But I have been getting back into it for the last 2 weeks so hopefully will have a loss on Thursday. If not I want my money back!!!

    hi Sammy

I would like to think that they helped but I would say it took at least 6 weeks or so, probably more.

I started taking them in October and just after Christmas I started to feel a little bit more human.....the man running around in my head screaming had stopped by then.......ahem.....looking back, god, I was in a mess. I used to sit and dig my nails really hard in to my hands to try to deflect some of the mental 'pain' and I used to just sit and cry at the thought that one day my dog (who is only 6 now!) will die. I guess I know now why the practice nurse at my GP asked me if I was having any suicidal thoughts.....whoops.........:o

I took myself off them when I went on holiday as I had decided to leave my job and take redundancy and so the cloud slowly started to lift in March. It's still left me a mess, I am still having nightmares about the situation even now and I hardly go out, but I am slowly getting better.

Wow, bet that's cheered you all up!!!!!!!! sorry....:o

    Keren.

I completely understand about the mental pain. I had severe PND 14 years ago, which resulted in my being allocated a psychiatric nurse and being monitored. Rather than a suicide attempt I had a 'cry for help', (which is why it took me so long to have another).. I managed to bypass the PND this time.

I think I have been running on adrenalin for so long since I lost my job, I was (IMHO) very switched on throughout my tribunal and the fact that we had no money for nearly 12 months that now things are getting better I seem to have taken my foot off the pedal.

Its funny, many people on here are so inspirational (yes you Keren) and its easy to forget that we all have our moments of self doubt.
