Aww thanks girls - I'm off to the doctors tomorrow to see what he says. I went a month or so ago, and he gave me antibiotics, but it's just not getting any better.

I thought about a piece of toast, but that's what I had for lunch. Chicken soup and a slice of cake sounds lovely though ;)

Right, I found some strawberries in the back of the fridge so I'm having them.

No cream or sugar though, I promise :D

Spud - I hope that you are feelin better soon, soup is always good *im poorly* food :D

Sammy - I swear my miserable bollox is realated to yours ;) He doesnt have the first clue about our finances (apart frm we dont have any :rotfl:) and if entered into a pop quiz about who our mortgage was with he would fail miserably - I kid you not!!

PAP, PAP, darling PAP. BIG BIG HUGE hugs for you. It certainly sounds to me that you have an emotional issue connected to our weight and we are here to help you with that too but I beleive that it realy is a bridge you need to cross first. If I am talking bollox (it is known ;)) then just tell me to shut up but I just wanted to tell you we are here for you and not to give up - we'll support you all the way.

I just snaffled a bag of seabrooks - it was the damn adverts!!!

Pap - I put sedentary as my activity level. Sat at a PC all day and a quick dog walk is as strenuous as it gets (although I'm hoping to up the sweat level as the weeks go on!)

My emotional crutch is and has been since I was 13, food. Some people smoke, some drink, some gamble, I ate/eat.

It's always been my friend, there when nothing else has.

I keep thinking though of a girl in a documentary I saw-Too Fat to Walk, where a group of very overweight people (lowest weight was 21 stone) walked from Devon to Scotland.

One girl (about 22 stone) said that food had always been her friend. And then said 'but what kind of friend does all this to you?'

So pap, whenever you want to chat, rant, sob, laugh, you know where the PM button is.

PAP - DON'T GIVE UP. PLEASE DON'T GIVE UP. Otherwise you will eat and then feel bad and then eat more etc....

Have you thought about lighter life.. Its expensive but is just meal replacements and counselling regarding emotions and food. One of the books that they recommend you read is 'Mind over Mood'. Have a look on amazon, it may be worth a read.

Lighter life may be worth it for you if you don't feel able to eat.. Unfortunately you have to drink about four litres of water a day:eek:

My holiday next week is with a friend who has severe weight issues (however she is the other way round! if you get my drift!)

TIG- if your miserable bollox had a brother it would be my miserable bollox. If entered into a pop quiz and was asked who is your mortgage provider mine would say 'whats a mortgage?':rotfl:
