Fingers crossed for you Brock. Hoping it all goes through.
We are still waiting for our mortgage offer. Rang this morning- they would like more information. Have offered to refund our money if we change our mind, is that normal? We're off on holiday in 2 weeks, can't see it happening before then.

Oh so sorry angel eyes...this housemoving lark is so stressful; isnt it!
Update...
Got call from agent...buyers sol will not exchnage yet as the mortgage co (Future Mortgages) is only 1 in 3 companies that they will not exchange on unless they are sure the money is either on the way or with them. They have a bad reputation for not paying on time or the correct amount etc. So buyers sol has told them that completion is tomorrow (not Thurs) to see if the money will be sent to her asap. She was told that she is one in a list and to phone back at 4pm. If money is on its way when she phones then we may exchnage today if not we have to wait again until tomorrow. Phoned removals co who were great. Just said to let them know asap and that they have no other work booked.... i need to totally de-stress soon or im going to explode!0 -
Well it still hasnt happened...the buyers mortgage co furture still havent paid up and we did tell them we were completing today so how bad is that eh? Got sols phoning the mortgage co up every hour, got the broker chasing also but only got til 3pm and then all money transfers stop! So if we were completing today it would totally knacker up all that. As it is we are supposed to be completing tomorrow. Chose a Thursday in an effort to miss all the rush of money transfers etc! But who is to say the money will come through tomorrow. Got removals men coming and two sets of parents to help etc , hubby and i got day off work .....this is a nightmare!0

thats horrible brock-cruse. I will always be hesitant in the future I think. its not worth the stress!!!
As it stands at the moment we are waiting for our FA to sort out the BTL mortgage. We have had rental valuations which would be tight but managable if we had to let it out longer term. Hopefully we can still sell though (got some viewings tonight already). If we dont sell after a month or so we'll probably let out.
So far the vendor has been fine about the house but this week has started to get itchy feet and talking about a non-refundable deposit or even remarketing the house. She seems worried we arent going through with it and stuff grr. Hopefully she can hang on a bit longer.0 -

How are things going with Brock-Cruse, any luck yet?0 -
well we have been aiming for a completion date of 26th of July, this has now gone out the window because we are still waiting on some things from the seller's solicitors which was raised about 2 weeks ago. There are 6 inthe chain so this 1 little thing has put everyone back.
We havnt even signed the contracts yet.0
