Remember to look after yourself as well as your pennies, Alex!

Some good news, got an enquiry after something I've had for sale for a while now, rather hoping it turns into a sale.
HBS: Thanks, I'm not going to pretend I will though.2018 totals:

It's been ages since you said you would have money to knock the debt down, impressive :T:T:T0

Buffy: Thank you. Yes, I am looking forward to it going as well. My target was to be debt free by the end of this year, I'm not sure that's do able now as I'm not putting quite so much effort into clearing the debt. Not because I don't want to but because this year has been particularly difficult ... and I hoped 2014 would be a good one.2018 totals:

I think you need to invest in some rose tinted spectacles! Most people who have your start figures & reduced their debt to one third in just 9 months would be shouting from the rooftops "wow look what I have done". If you get it down below £8k then you will have reduced it to a quarter. Either is a really solid improvement worthy of a little self congratulation at least. So time to celebrate what you HAVE done & not bemoan what little you haven't.0

patanne: I am pleased about the progress thus far.
As I have mentioned before the means by which I have achieved the reduction in debt has not really taught me not to spend money. That said I am pleased to have reduced the outgoings to the utility companies and my ongoing quest to reduce the food bill (managed on £38 last week).
Other things are not looking so rosy and I've been invited to a watch auction in early July, the temptation is quite strong especially after seeing the low estimates.2018 totals:
