    Dear Diary,

Going to make this short and sweet as I've no real financial news other than managing a "no spend day".

It appears for calling the school I will mostly be writing a CV tomorrow, no I very much doubt anything will come of this either. For, I'm sure they will have better, more experienced and greater qualified people apply so this feels like a waste of time but Mrs. K. is insistent have a go.

In other news, tomorrow I am going back to counselling after promising my wife I don't fancy the counsellor. However, if she'd seen "the counsellor", she'd know I was serious, she also said I must "try my best" with it. Yes, because it really it that easy.

Business is looking OK, plenty to do, some leads to chase and plenty more is on eBay.

    Summary:
    -£0.00 NSD.

    Yours Faithfully,
    Alex.

Short and sweet here too (well, that's just me, but my post will be also :rotfl:)

Purple text - *kick in the bee-hind* from Coach!

Blue text - Mrs K. is right - it appears that it did you some good when you were having it, so hopefully it will do you some good again. Best of luck.

HBS: Thanks, the CV is almost finished and I'm currently debating whether to send a handwritten covering letter (I do have decent handwriting) or just type something up.

    Tuesday 3rd June, 2014.

    Dear Diary,

Another short entry from me, mainly to update the finances.

Despite a horrible night yesterday, I've had a good and productive day today. Managed to get a few more items on eBay, secure a large order, volunteer at the school, go to counselling (which was not at all as bad as I was expecting) and have a low spend day.

    Summary:
    +£60.00 Music Teaching.
    -£5.50 Music.

    Yours Faithfully,
    Alex.

Based on the fact that you have a decent pen to write it with, I'd do the letter. I'm guessing it's the sort of school that would appreciate 'certain standards'.;)

Good to see that no extra groceries have been bought and you sound like you've had a productive day. Well done!

Don't you bl**dy well dare send a type written letter or I'll come and forcefully sell your pens and dress Little K in clothes from Tesco :rotfl:.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Of course it is, I went there. ;) Seriously though, in my wife's industry it's all done via email or it a letter has to be sent, it's the done thing to type a letter these days.

No extra groceries yet. However, I do know I've got to get some bread tomorrow. Yesterday was productive but today is set to be even busier.

 That's my decision made for me. ;) No "poison green" ink for this one though.

Yes, but you're not applying for a job in your wife's industry. This is 'old school' (literally and metaphorically) that we're talking about here. I think a typed CV is enough to show you are computer savvy but that doesn't mean you have to go the whole hog!

As for the bread, that's not a major problem, just beware of going in for a loaf (presumably the 'Red Ed' organic deli type not basic sliced white!;)) and coming out with a load of other stuff. I'm surprised you haven't got a breadmaker like Dave!:rotfl:
