Today has been a very busy one.

Londongal: Thank you for your perspective. :) I am currently trying to take people as I find them and not automatically judge. Sorry I do not have anything more meaningful to say.

Luckystepho: Thank you also and again, sorry I do not have a meaningful reply.

HBS: I'm not sure I will ever manage the "independent" part, life seems far too complicated to me. As for feeling small, the last ten years or so have proved I am not someone deserving of happiness. On another note, you did make me smile with the Dead Poets Society. ;)

gien: Can't believe I'm saying this, wouldn't have a few months ago but I thrice Londongal's excellent advice. Perhaps my school work is turning me soft in my advancing years. ;) :rotfl:

Quick one as I'm also super busy!

Purple text - Life is complicated. You learn to get on with it. Not to put too fine a point on it, your parents aren't always going to be there. I know this :(

Blue text: What a load of rot! You're a nice person too, and nice people deserve happiness. So there. Coach has spoken ;):p

    Friday 30th May, 2014.

    Dear Diary,

It's a long time since I've done this but I thought a £58.00 grocery bill for the week was deserving of an entry, mainly bought from local shops too.

Whilst the debt busting has gone on hold for the time being, I've got a very busy working week next week, a new music pupil and a potential lead of my old prep school requiring a piano teacher. Well, if one doesn't ask in this life ...

In further news, an item has gone on eBay for the first time in a while today, not for a great amount (£20) but I'd rather see the cash in my paypal than the item put in the bin these days.

    Summary:
    -£58.00 Groceries.

    Yours Faithfully,
    Alex.

HBS / maman: Thank you both. I had a rather strange evening last night which involved perhaps a little bit too much to drink.

:T on the £58 for groceries. If you eat for a week on that you'll be well on the way to frugality.:)

Like you, I had a strange evening. Went too to a great choir concert but came home and could have had a cup of tea but had too much wine instead.:(

Well done on the grocery shop and ebay stuff :) potential lead for piano tutor sounds good too! Did you just ask about that or did someone else ask/suggest you for the post?

like both of you I've had a few days of way too much to drink -I'm on the wagons now and Alex, we have a 21 day deal to fulfil.

Ended up having a very busy weekend with no signs of things slowing over the week either, hopefully being busy will lead to a good June.

Well, according to the meal plan, which we have stuck to for the past few days we will be able to eat on £58 for the week. Must admit, I'm rather smug about that this week. ;)

I'd met up with a friend from university that evening, no excuse for carrying on at home though. :o

    Thank you. :)

A new pupil rang to start lessons, I asked the usual questions which includes which school the pupil attends. They decided to tell me all about the old piano teacher leaving just after Easter. So, wish me luck, I'm calling the school tomorrow.

Thanks, now I just hope I manage to pick the phone up tomorrow. :rotfl:
