  • Hi everyone,
Just catching up after a bout of Winter fluey thing followed by a meal out that ended in food poisoning - I paid £40 to spend a lot of time talking to God on the great white telephone, NOT very MSE!:o

Alex, has it already been THREE MONTHS? Seems like yesterday... You are doing SO well, keep it up & sod the pompous lackwits who spout drivel on FB!

Have you stuck the sticker on yet? (Guess that'll put you both straight on the Naughty list!) :D

Granaries: Sounds like you've had a horrible week.

Yes, three months since I started. Should have something to report debts wise this evening (taken photos of things to go on eBay but not listed yet).

Sticker went on Wednesday :rotfl:, Mrs. K. did the deed. If my mother is in a good mood she'll likely find it amusing.

You can make a Christmas Movie for your son for free - have his name and picture added as well - I do it for a niece.

Alex, I agree with those who say have a break from FB.....I had a break in July, which is still in effect!!! I don't miss it at all, only the idea that it was nice to be able to keep in touch with my oldest friends who aren't local. Question is, how to reactivate my account and scale the friends list down to just those who I actually like using FB to keep in touch with....without offending those who I see all the time???? As I don't know what the answer is, I'm not on it at all!

I know where your coming from. :) I do use facebook to keep in touch with people I only see in the summer (car people ;)) and for news about various car events. However, I made the mistake of adding lots of people from school.

So block them, if they search for you, they wont find you, and will just think youve left FB.
I think its something we all need to do periodically. Clear out the toxic friends.

Alex, no elves when my two were little so am looking to you to provide daily updates of his antics :D.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

I will cut mine down. Embarrassingly, I have to admit to being rather jealous of most of my old class mates. :o

    Saturday 30th November, 2013.
    Day 91.

    Dear Diary,

Today has been rather hectic but not with anything important. My parents are back and seemed in high spirits, even though my mother caught some nasty cold in London. However, father looks to be very well, considering he has been ill around Christmas time for the past couple of years I was so pleased to see him looking so much better. I've got a suspicion this Christmas is going to be a good one.

Onto debt busting, I have once again got no further than taking photos for the items I have got to put on eBay and as a consequence am rather annoyed with myself. My only excuse being that I was nagged by our Christmas Elf into helping him put up some decorations.

    Summary:
    -£16.00 Groceries.
    -£15.00 Butchers.

    Yours Faithfully,
    Alex.
