Oh, he's well known for being a P***k; it's more the fact he holds a position of influence that irks me.

I will try to get a good night's sleep sometime soon. :)

Oh Alex, I am not sure if I am more cross with you for getting worked up about something you read on Facebook (tho I agree with you that it goes against the essence of our society) or judging someone for having "a mediocre degree from a second rate university" for some of us, that was all we could get. But some of us have gone on to bigger and better things ;)

Judge someone for being a pillock, but not that.,

Hi Alex - have you ever thought of taking a week off from reading the news and Facebook rubbish - see how it makes you feel.

That comment was in relation to this particular person and not how I view people who went to ex-Polys as a whole; usually I don't care. In this instance, it's just further proof this man shouldn't have the job he does (due to the amount of research required in such a role).

    I think I ought to. :)

The world really seems to be getting to me at the moment. :(

Oh Alex, just stop a minute, count your blessings, have the strength to change the things you can, and to ignore the things you cant.

Get off Facebook, close your account for a few weeks. The last thing you need is people bugging your thoughts with their idiotic ideas.

Consider the IMPORTANT issues like ........

Did you find your Christmas Elf yet ?
Its just a bad day, Not a bad life ..

Thank you, I've not had a great day and do need to stop thinking about things I have no control over.

Yes, I'm going to leave facebook alone for a week and not watch the news, see if it makes any difference.

Funny you should mention Christmas elves, my parents brought the elf over today (we had it delivered to their house) to "help mummy and daddy monitor behaviour" :rotfl: My parents think it's hilarious but our son is yet to be convinced, I don't think he likes him much yet.

Thank you, just need to remind myself that when I'm not feeling too good. :)
