Try and remember things that happened in the past are done - so leave them there. Nothing you can change about them now.

Hope today is a better one!

This is that Dickens book, you've seen a glimpse of Christmas past, you know Christmas present and the birthday party was a glimpse of Christmas future. I can't even remember how it ends!!! god, I think it's time I caught up on the five years or so I've not seen a Christmas film. This year I will watch all of them . Even the chronic ones.

Hope your day is better than yesterday . You have always seemed stronger than you think, so hope today is calm in your head x

Its just a bad day, Not a bad life ..
  • Here's me thinking it was a work of great literature. Surely I can watch a version of it without the muppets :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I ll even watch all those Santa's elf ones to make up for it. Please god anything but the muppets :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Hi everyone,

Thank you all. Today has not been much easier in all honesty.

    hi Alex
I have been catching up on the last 8 pages as I have had revision to do. But I passed one course so yeah!

I won't comment on your mum. My feelings mirror other posters who have said what I want to say far more eloquently than I can.

Great that the party went so well. That is ace. It could well be the first thing little K has a proper memory of so that is lovely for him.

Yeah also for little K going an extra day at nursery next week too. Now that he is 3 will you be putting him in for all his free hours? Seems a shame to waste something that is free. And it will help your parents out as they won't have to run around after a bouncy 3 year old so much.

Wow to your mum being so determined to carry on working at 72. If I am by then I would be demented unless it was something that I was passionate about and then that is different. I hope that common sense can prevail on her, and she hands over the reins soon. So she can enjoy her retirement.

Nice one on the ebay sales too.

But best of all well done on sticking with the counselling. Having been the offerer of counselling (all be it only a trainee and gave it up), it can be uncomfortable. But if you keep on doing the same thing you keep on getting the same result. You are already changing with regards finances. And I am sure that the counselling will be positive too. Just remember how uncomfortable confronting the financial dilemmas were, and you have done that (ok work in progress). So take strength from that.

    Hi Chev,

    What are you studying?

Thank you, I hope the party is my son's first proper memory. :) The free nursery hours start from January and we are so far undecided but I think we will likely put him in for all his free hours.

My mother is very much in denial over her age and the fact she is getting older. She's absolutely terrified of the future.

I will stick with the counselling, if it's not working in four months or so, I think I will have had enough sessions to realise it's not the right thing for me. However, until then I will stick with it and try.

    Thank you. :)

Unfortunately, my reminder of the past was out of my control. All my doctor has given me eases the symptoms, does not help with the cause.

:) I managed to get some of our Christmas decorations from out of the loft today, not put them up though.

Unfortunately, today has not been calm in my head but I live in hope tomorrow will be. Thank you for your kind words.
