Ok but only the clean ones
Hope the party went ok today, bet your both shattered, you all take care, and hope everyone had a great time.
Def prefer Horse racing, we're quite lucky got 3 courses within an hr of where we live, 2 small, 1 big, but its one of those things havent got round to lately, xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
LOL, I wouldn't expect any less from a lady.
Party went well but yes we are tired. My parents and Mrs. K.'s ended up staying for a while after, they helped to tidy up though which was nice. Very pleased to say no arguments between my parents and the in laws which must be a first.
I've not been to the races very many times and there's only Southwell which is fairly close to us.2018 totals:

Wow in the nicest of ways re both sets of parents, hopefully it will be a sign of things to come. xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
mum2one: One can hope. :rotfl: As close as it got was father-in-law saying "you're winding me up now" to my mother about her next car dilemma; she's had LR Series / 90 / Defender cars throughout her driving career and Defender production is ending in 2015 but as she's 72, thinks she's getting "too old" for another 'fender. So was thinking of a Disco then buying one of the last Defenders and keeping it nice to pass onto our son for his first car. Yep, the "thing" for Land Rovers is in the family.2018 totals:

Day 78.
Dear Diary,
Well, what can I say? Today has been eventful, busy and very good fun. However, I'm far to tired to recap on the day before "just another Manic Monday" swings around. Debt busting has, for the first time in 78 days been completely forgotten about in favour of decadent food, Champagne and a chance to dress up.
I've very pleased my parents and in laws both behaved themselves as well as Mrs. K.'s brother and his family. The children all enjoyed themselves and we were complimented by our guests. I was pleased one of my son's friend's father managed to make the party as he has been rather ill for a while (longer than I've known the family) and that everybody enjoyed themselves.
Here's to playing "Happy Birthday" tomorrow yet again for son's real birthday, will miss my little star of a niece to accompany tomorrow though.
Summary:
Believe it or not today has actually managed to be a NSD!
Yours Faithfully,
Alex.2018 totals:

Many happy returns to your son.
My son's birthday is tomorrow and I still can't believe he's 3, will always be our little boy though.I'm looking forward to the future for once. Just showed Mrs. K. your post and she said we'll be saying the same thing in 12 years time! :rotfl:

Yes ditto Hok3y.
So glad ti all went well for you today Alex - a lovely day to look back on and I second what Mum2one said about parents and in laws.Great opportunities to help others seldom come, but small ones surround us every day. -- Sally Koch0 -
Roland: Thank you.
I've had a lovely day, hope to have many more like this. I doubt my parents and in laws are ever going to become best friends but we'll settle for civil.
